Coach Speak
Hard work continues to pay off for the high school throwers as I continue to see improvements at all levels. On the boy’s side, I have to give a big shout out to Tristan Ortiz for throwing a personal record of 50’0” and to Tanner Hardcastle for his 43’11” throw. For the ladies, a big shout out to Jessie Ramirez and to Analea Brooks for the nice throws that they recorded.—Coach Devin Rotramel.
The pole vaulters had a great weekend setting new PRs ranging from 8’0” to 12’6”.They are making progress every meet and working hard to accomplish their goals for the season.—Coach Hannah Thompson
The distance athletes had a great week. We are reaching personal records early in the season. With big goals still in mind matched with the effort and attitude they are bringing to practice and meets, I am convinced this will be a rewarding season for them. I am excited each week to watch them make new goals and meet them. They have the right mind set right now and they just need to keep thinking in this positive manner.—Coach Kim Lane
