The Devine Warhorse golf team faced some stiff winds and stiff competition at Sontero Golf Club Monday. The Warhorses shot a 366 to finish in a fourth place tie with San Antonio Antonian Red.
The Antonian Blue squad took first place by shooting a 334. Second place went to Central Catholic with a score of 342 while host O’Connor took third with a 361.
Carson Tilley shot an 81 to finish in a second place tie with Austin Guadarrama from Austin Blue. Patrick Kahanek of Central Catholic was the overall champion with a score of 79.
Brice Champion (88), Brandon Flues (95), Ricky Gollrad (98), Noah Tumbarello (102), and Kyler Brown (104) also competed for the Warhorses.
