Vicente Garza (Chente, El Cricket) 73 of Natalia, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
Vicente is preceded in death by his parents, Melchor and Regina Garza, sisters, Antonia Lara, Isabel Martinez, Esther Alcantar, brothers, Armando, Rodolfo and Alfredo Garza.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Rose Mary Garza, son, Rene Garza wife Frances, daughters, Laura husband Angel Ruiz, Cynthia husband Alfonso Rodriguez, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sisters, Mary G. Perez, Estela Garza, Rafela Garza, brothers, Hector, Pedro, Thomas Garza, numerous nieces and nephews.
Chente will be missed greatly by his family and friends. They will miss his playful sense of humor, always saying something to make you smile. Rest in peace Chente.
Family is requesting anyone who wishes to attend services to wear a mask at all times. If anyone is showing any symptoms or positive from COVID-19, please refrain from attending services.
Visitation will be Monday, February 7, 2022, from 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia at 10:00 AM with interment following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Devine.
