Vernee Lynn Allen passed away peacefully on July 11, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 42. She was born on March 1, 1975 in Uvalde, Texas and graduated from Kenedy High School in 1996. She moved to Hondo and was a longtime resident of Medina County.
Vernee was preceded in death by her parents, Margil Gary Allen and Beverly Allen.
She is survived by her brother, Gary “Weston” Allen, and wife Jackie of Houston, uncle Lynn Smith of Dallas, uncle James Smith and wife Jimmy Jo of El Indio, uncle Robert Keith Smith and wife Renell of League City, and aunt Diane Bradford, of Devine.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 26, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 4114 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227.
