Varsity Warhorses win second District game

In their second district game, the Warhorses add another win to their belt. They beat Pearsall 53-42. This was a very clean game for the Warhorses. 18 of their 53 points came from 3-pointers shot by Leonard Pompa and Justin Contreras. The Warhorses also made all of their free throws.
They started the game off strong with a 15-8 lead at the end of the first and maintained that lead through the end of the second, 30-23. In the third, Pearsall tried to make something happen and closed the score gap to 39-32 but in the fourth, the Warhorses took off and finished the game strong.
Conner Schmidt led with 13 points, Contreras 9, Pompa 8, Jacob Oyola 8, Daniel Ramirez 8, Dalton Kramer 3, and Brady Cardenas and Kameren Adams scoring 2 points each.
