“We got out to a quick start in the Lytle game. We did a good job of pressuring the ball and that led to some easy transition opportunities. We moved the ball well on offense and did a great job of sharing the ball. The girls were focused and did a great job of extending the lead in the second half. In all, this win was a great way to warm-up for district play.” Coach Jim Sessions

“We played with a great intensity in the Hondo game. The girls came out focused and ready to go. Defensively we played really well and with great effort. Offensively, we did a great job of moving the ball and sharing it with teammates. We shot the ball well all game as well. We did a great job of playing through some distractions as well. With 3 minutes left in the game, we lost power and had to relocate to Natalia to finish out the game. The girls did a great job of maintaining their focus after the long delay and finished the game out. I was very proud of the effort the team put forth to start district play. I was very pleased with the way the girls started district play.” Coach Session
