Devine ISD holds school board elections every year on the May uniform election date which is the first Saturday in May. The next election will be held on May 2, 2020.
Board positions up for election this time are currently held by District 4 Nancy Pepper and District 3Henry Moreno, Jr. both which have re filed for election.
Any other packet(s) that have been picked up have not been returned as of press time.
Anyone wishing to run for school board may submit their application for a place on the ballot at the Devine ISD Administration Building at 605 W. Hondo Ave. The first day to file an application for a place on the ballot was January 15, 2020. The filing deadline is 5 p.m. on the 78th day before election day which will be this Friday, February 14, 2020.
