Texas Watershed Steward Workshop in Castroville Nov. 9th
On November 9th, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a free Texas Watershed Steward workshop in Castroville. Water quality related to the Medina River, along with land and watershed management, will be discussed. Topics will include water quality, water quality law, agricultural and urban best management practices, hydrology, and others. The event and its available continuing education credits are free and open to the public. Pre-registration link provided below.


The professional continuing education credits offered are applicable to, but are not limited to, Texas Department of Agriculture private pesticide license holders (3 general CEUs), professional engineers, AICP certified planers, professional geoscientists, certified teachers, certified floodplain managers, certified crop advisors, and select TCEQ occupational license holders.
The Texas Watershed Steward workshop will take place from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 9th at the Braden Keller Community Center, located at 1410 Amelia Street, Castroville, TX 78009.
