Susan Dillard Rodriquez, of Lytle, passed away on January 20, 2020 at the age of 60. She was born November 2, 1959 in Brownfield, Texas to Ronald Wesley Dillard and Ruthie Mae Ellis Dillard.
Susan graduated from Freer High School in 1975. She worked at Clayton Homes in San Antonio for twenty-seven years as a general manager, retiring in 2016.
On April 27, 1976, Susan married Robert Rodriquez De La Fuente in Alice, Texas. They were blessed with forty-three years of marriage, two children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Rodriquez De La Fuente; daughter, Jessica (Emmitt) Sweeten; son, Robert W. Rodriquez; grandchildren, Abigail Rodriquez, Jason Rodriquez, Catherine Rodriquez, Desirée Sweeten and Emmitt Sweeten; great-grandchildren, Alexis Alcorta and Isaiah Alcorta; mother, Ruthie Mae Dillard; siblings, Gary (Kristi) Dillard, Raymond (Patsy) Dillard, Becky (Jarod) Standlee, and brother-in-law, Brian Ouimett.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Dillard and sister, Sharon Kay Ouimett.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Susan’s family will have a Celebration of her Life at a later date.
