Airyanna Rodriguez led Devine to a fourth place team ranking by placing fifth overall individually. Rodriguez’s 13:44 two-mile time was a mere two seconds behind fourth place Samanth Mujica of Lytle.
The Arabians scored 89 points which was eight points shy of third place San Antonio Christian. This was Devine’s last competition before district.
Kristina Moralez and Charlee Rangel came in 15th and 16th respectively as Moralez ran her race in 13:59 while Rangel came in at 14:02.
Yessika Garza placed 27th at 14:48 and Trinity Black was 34th with a 15:10 to close out the top five scorers for the Arabians.
Jilliyn Guajardo (44th-16:04), Kendall Marek (46th-16:13), and Rebecca Mares (17:27) also competed for Devine.
Angelina ran for the JV placing 21st at 19:12.
