Isaiah Morin continues his successful season as he placed third in last week’s Devine Invitational at Devine Golf Club. Morin ran a 17:56 to place one-second behind runner-up Jose Cortez of Lytle. Overall, the Warhorses placed third in the team standings behind champion San Antonio Christian and Lytle.
Kristofer Aguirre and Thomas TJ Mendoza finished in the top 20 at 12th and 17th respectively. Aguirre ran his best race of the season finishing the three-mile course in 19:20, while Mendoza also performed his best coming in at 19:37.
The triumvirate of Marcus Espinosa, Christopher Ortiz, and Jesse House came in 22nd, 23rd, and 24th with times of 20:13, 20:20, and 20:21.
Taylor Hurst (47th-22:04), Corwin Flores (48th-22:09), and Stephen Culver (54th-23:05) also competed for the third place Horses.
