The Pirates added two more wins to their undefeated district season. Now 4-0 in district and 12-5-1 overall, the Pirates will take on Natalia on the road Friday and Cotulla at home Tuesday.
Facing off against Dilley on March 23rd, the Pirates opened the game with 3 runs in the first and added runs nearly every inning. They finished the game 18-7 with 15 hits. Mason Davila had 61 total pitches with 39 strikes, Kasen Boyd had 56 pitches with 28 strikes and Logan Wilson had 14 pitches with 11 strikes. Their biggest inning was the top of the 5th, with Caleb Wood (double), Sebastian Flores (pop fly), Justin DeLeon (walk) on base, Faustino Sanchez singles and Wood scores, 7-1. Ismael Castillo in for DeLeon, Flores and Castillo scored on a passes ball and Carson Aldridge walked, 9-1. Mark Cantu ground out but Sanchez scored, 10-1. Last run of the inning came when Alex Ramos singled allowing Aldridge to score.

March 26th against Poteet, the Pirates had a couple of scoreless innings until they broke the game open in the 3rd and kept the balls flying to win it 11-0. Facing 21 batters, Wilson threw 39 strikes in 56 pitches and only allowed 1 hit.
