Lytle’s varsity and JV track teams put on a great show for their fans last week in Poth as they came away with runner-up and championship plaques respectively. Brandon Adkins and Alex Medina came away with gold medals in the varsity division while Robert Wagner earned two silver medals and Donovan Cortez got one as well.
In the JV division, Tristan Lopez, Marcos Alvarado, Luke Estrada, Rudy Cepeda, Amadeus Trejo-Perez, Yandel Esquives, Hudson Lindsey, and William Davalos each worked themselves into at least one gold medal apiece.
Lytle was competing in only their second meet of the season as their home invitational was canceled the previous week due to inclement weather.
The Lytle teams travel to Dilley Wednesday, March 9 to compete in the Wolf Pack Relays.
