Olga Martinez Solis, small business owner and long-time resident of Ontario, California, passed away to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the age of 72.
Olga is survived by her mother Abundia Martinez; her children Sylvia Saez, Sonia Copas, Michael Solis; her grandchildren Steven Castro, Myranda Santiago, Marcus Copas, Vincent Copas, Adrian Copas, Amaya Copas, Jaiden Solis, Aneissa Solis; and her great grandchildren Elias Santiago, Kai Santiago, and Aria Santiago.
Olga was born in Bigfoot, Texas on June 11, 1946 to Abundia Mauricio Martinez and Miguel Lino Martinez. She had 11 sisters; Josefa Granadoes, Oralia Sanchez, Ofelia Nollola, Hortencia Payan, Otilia Belmontes, Maria Martinez, Antonia Weiland, Lina Schock, Pearl Martinez, Rosie Mendoza, Irene Martinez and five brothers; Juan Martinez, Lino Martinez Jr., Manuel Martinez, Antonio Martinez, and Edward Martinez.
Olga was a devoted Christian woman of god, a daughter, a mother, a grandmother, a boss, and a friend to many. She was hard working, kind, and had the biggest heart. Her business and her family were her passion and reason for living. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, clients, and all who knew her.
A memorial service took place on Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 at Drapers Mortuary in Ontario, California.
