Ofilia G. Vera, age 101, of Natalia, Texas entered her Eternal Life on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at her home in Natalia, Texas. She was born around Dilley, Texas on January 27, 1920 to Ignacio and Ruberta Gamboa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Daniel Vera Sr., son Daniel (Danny) Vera Jr., daughter Marisa Vera Esquibel; grandson Diego Daniel Vera; great grandson Triece A. Vera. Brothers, Ignacio (Chero) Gamboa Jr., Margarito (Mago) Gamboa, and Jose A. (Joe) Gamboa; sisters, Leonides G. Butner, Manuela G. Chapa, and Delia G. Gonzales.
Ofilia is survived by daughters, Ruby and Selica Vera. Grandchildren, Daniel A. (Roseann) Vera, Juan D., Daniana C., and Sofia C. Vera. Daughter-in-law Veronica Vera, great grandchildren, Marcos (Mari) Esquibel, Trinity, Trista, Trina, Triss and Danny Vera, Alyssa Cortez and great-great grandchildren Alexandria (Lexi) and Alyssa Esquibel. Sister Amada G. Sepulveda and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Services are as follows: A vigil with Rosary will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia. Mass at 10:00 am and interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Devine.
