Natalia Police Report Sept. 28-Oct. 4

On September 28, 2020, Natalia Police Department responded to the 1300 Block of HWY 132 N, in reference to theft of a motor vehicle. The officer took all available information down at the time and returned to service.
On September 28, 2020, Natalia Police Department responded to a disturbance at the 700 Block of 3rd Street. The officers arrived and determined a disturbance did occur but it was just a verbal altercation. Two criminal trespass warnings were written to the parties.
On September 28, 2020, Natalia Police Department responded to the 21000 Block of FM 471 in reference to a disturbance. Once the officers arrived they determined an assault had taken place and arrested one individual for Assault. The officers transported the suspect to the Medina County Jail without incident.
On October 1, 2020, officer smelled the odor of marijuana coming out of the driver’s window. A subsequent probable cause search revealed the driver was in possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. The suspect was transported the Medina County Jail.
On October 3, 2020, Natalia Police Department responded to the 700 Block of 3rd Street in reference to someone burning leaves in their backyard. The officers arrived and identified leaves burning in the backyard and instructed the individual to extinguish the fire. The officers returned to service.
On October 4, 2020, Natalia Police Department responded to a theft report at the 2100 Block of HWY 132 N. The officers arrived on scene and took down all available information about the stolen cell phone. The officers returned to service.
