Natalia Police Report Sept. 1-8

Sept. 1
10:15 PM – Officer responded to FM 471 and Depot Rd. about a truck that had wrecked out on top of the railroad tracks. Officer went and assisted DPS on the crash as a cover officer. The trooper later determined that the male driver was highly intoxicated and was later arrested for suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
Sept. 2
12:45 AM – Officer was approached at the La Pasadita parking lot while speaking to a sheriff’s deputy about needing medical attention for his wife, who was five months pregnant. The deputy, who is EMS certified, went over and assessed the patient and relayed all important information to EMS prior to arrival. EMS arrived on scene and later transported the patient to a hospital in San Antonio.
9:43 PM – Officer responded to the 200 blk. of CR 6720 for a male subject who was walking down the street with his pants down. Deputies arrived on scene and took care of the incident. Officer later cleared the scene and went back in service.
Sept. 4
7:55 AM – Officers responded to the 2500 blk. of Hwy. 132 about a suspicious person. Officer located the male subject in the 100 blk. of 3rd St., who ran from police when asked to stop walking. Officer gave chase and caught the male subject in the 400 blk. of Palfrey St., where he was taken into custody and then later transported to Southwest General Hospital on an Emergency Detention warrant.
Sept. 7
6:51 PM – Officer went and assisted with a possible overdose at the roadside park off of IH-35. EMS arrived on scene and cleared the ill person. Officer later cleared the scene and went back on duty.
Sept. 8
7:15 PM – Officer responded to the 700 blk. of 4th St. about a male and female arguing and being loud. Officer contacted the couple and they both stated they were arguing about some money that was missing from inside the house, and that the arguing had gotten a little too heated. The female later decided to leave the residence and go stay with her mother. Officer later cleared the scene with no other action taken.
