Lytle Police Report Sept. 2-8

Sept. 2
1:45 AM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at Naegelin Rd. to assist DPS with a one vehicle crash.
8:34 AM – Officer responded to Masonic Lodge for a report of an unauthorized vehicle parked at the lodge.
10:15 AM – Officers responded to Cate Law Firm for a report of an alarm. The key holder was on-site, all was secure.
3:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a female soliciting with her 4 children. Officer was unable to locate the female.
5:23 PM – Officer responded to 14300 Blk. of FM 2790 E for a report of pellets from dove hunters hitting passing cars. While in the area, officer was flagged down by a resident who was having issues with the dove hunters trespassing to get the birds. All hunters were advised to change their aim and to not trespass.
10:09 PM – Officers responded to 200 Blk. of Las Palomas to assist Atascosa Co. with a verbal disturbance. No offense occurred and the unruly family member agreed to go to sleep.
Sept. 3
12:59 AM – Officer responded to Lytle High School to assist Medina Co. SRO with the recovery of a runaway juvenile out of Atascosa Co.
10:52 PM – Officers responded to Pecan Grove Apt. for a report of a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on scene and made contact with complainant, the suspect left the scene prior to officer’s arrival.
Sept. 4
6:36 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 133 NB to assist DPS with a vehicle crash.
12:19 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a man who ate a hotdog while in the store and then refused to pay for it. Subject fled prior to officer’s arrival.
1:11 PM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Houston St. for a report of a suspicious black vehicle with a loud muffler driving around the school area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
4:00 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 N Frontage Rd. at FM 2790 E for a report of a stranded motorist in the area. Officer located a vehicle pulled off the road then the vehicle immediately drove off when officer pulled behind it.
4:43 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at N. Prairie St. for a report of a cable trailer parked on the shoulder creating a traffic hazard. Officer spoke with the owner who agreed to place the cones then remove it.
8:34 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a civil matter.
11:10 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious customer carrying a large backpack into the store. HEB management was advised, shortly thereafter he exited the store without incident.
Sept. 5
11:07 AM – Officer responded to FM 2790 at Luckey Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with a minor accident.
3:10 PM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of Bruce St. to unlock a vehicle.
4:54 PM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a civil matter – property dispute.
Sept. 6
5:08 AM – Officer responded to US Post Office for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind the building. The vehicle was unoccupied, locked and not stolen.
9:32 AM – Officer responded to Lynda’s Trade Mart for a report of a civil matter – damage to property.
11:40 AM – Officers responded to First Baptist Church and provided funeral escort.
12:20 PM – While fueling at the Chevron, officer was approached by a female requesting a civil standby while she removed her possession from the garage at 15200 Blk. of Main St.
2:24 PM – Officers responded to 1500 Blk. of FM 3175 to assist Texas DPS with a major accident.
2:53 PM – Officer responded to McDonald St. at FM 2790 W for a report of an accident by a third party caller. The caller stated both vehicles relocated to Lytle State Bank then left prior to officer’s arrival.
Sept. 7
12:20 AM – Traffic stop at 14900 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old female subject for Possession of Marijuana < 2 oz. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
10:30 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a theft of unknown items valued at less than $100. Complainant wanted the subjects criminally trespassed. Complainant was informed on how to do that and to call the Police Station if the subjects returned.
10:41 AM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of a possible fight about to start. Upon arrival, officer was advised the suspect left the scene. The suspect was upset with his order and threw it at an employee.
12:35 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 Access Rd. at FM 3175 to assist a motorist who ran out of gas. The vehicle was pushed out of the roadway.
12:55 PM – Officer responded to McDonald St. at IH 35 Access Rd. to assist a disabled motorist. The subjects had help coming from Poteet. The vehicle was pushed from the roadway.
1:15 PM – Officers responded to FM 2790 N at Laredo St. for a report of a possible disturbance between a male and a female on the side of the road. Contact was made with both who denied a disturbance. Both stated they stopped to talk.
2:00 PM – Officers responded to Hurley’s Funeral Home and provided a funeral escort.
2:04 PM – Officers responded to Dollar General for a report of a female inside the store with a baby and a male outside the store wanting to take the child. Officer arrived and was unable to locate the female with a baby nor did any employee see a female with a baby inside the store recently.
8:47 PM – Officer responded to Lynda’s Trade Mart for a civil standby.
Sept. 8
12:23 AM – Officer responded to FM 463 at FM 2790 and assisted the public with a courtesy ride.
1:30 AM – While patrolling at Mc Self Storage officer made contact with a male and female at a storage unit. Both were identified and released.
2:30 AM – Officer responded to McConnel Rd. at FM 2790 to assist Atascosa Co. with a one vehicle roll over. The driver was located and released to Atascosa Co. Deputy.
3:15 AM – Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of N. Benton St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
3:05 PM – Officer responded to Cricket Wireless for a report of an unknown person who dropped a baggie with suspected marijuana residue. The item was photographed and discarded.
3:32 PM – Officer responded to McDonald’s to unlock a vehicle.
9:45 PM – Officer responded to Lytle High School to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with a fire alarm.
