On October 14, 2020, Natalia Police Department and Medina County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of IH-35 and Mile Marker 127 in reference to a person waving a possible firearm at drivers on the interstate. The caller could not specifically identify whether it was a firearm but believed it was. Natalia Police Department identified the suspect vehicle. Officers conducted a felony stop on the driver’s vehicle. Natalia Police Department identified a firearm inside the vehicle. The complainant stated he could not positively say if it was in fact a firearm, wished to remain anonymous and did not wish to file charges. Natalia Police Department gathered all available information and returned to service. The driver and passenger were released on scene.
On October 14, 2020, Natalia Police Department responded to Bartlett Street in reference to Deadly Conduct. The Natalia Police Department officers arrived and the suspect vehicle had left the scene. Natalia Police Department could not identify a complainant at the residence. However, Natalia Police Department gave a possible vehicle description. Medina County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped a possible suspect vehicle near Devine, Texas. Medina County Sheriff’s Office made an effective arrest on the suspect inside the vehicle. Natalia Police Department gathered all available information and returned to service.
On October 14, 2020, Natalia Police Department responded to the 100 block of 7th Street. Natalia Police Department took a report for a civil matter and returned to service.
On October 16, 2020, Natalia Police Department responded to 21200 block of FM 471 S. Natalia Police Department made contact with an individual sleeping behind the property. Natalia Police Department ran the individuals information and released him with a verbal notice that the individual can no longer sleep behind the property. Natalia Police Department returned to service.
