Devine Police Report Oct. 9-15

Oct. 9
5:53 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Galbreath in reference to a male subject yelling in the area. Officer made contact with the male, who advised he was staying at his mother’s house and going to sleep. Everything was okay.
9:50 AM – Officers assisted with the pursuit of a blue GMC Yukon occupied by five individuals on Ih-35 NB. All were detained.
11:12 AM – A male walking on the roadway on Rossville Rd. was possibly intoxicated.
6:48 PM – Officers assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a pursuit on a black Ford Focus on Hwy. 132 that ended at 4th St. and Bartlett St.
9:33 PM – Complainant reported losing a brown leather wallet with teal trim.
9:50 PM – Officer dispatched to the 1100 block of Warhorse Dr. in reference to a vehicle yelling at visiting fans; unable to locate.
11:43 PM – A caller found a wallet and turned it into police. The wallet was returned to its owner on Oct. 10.
Oct. 10
12:58 AM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of Breeze Dr. in reference to loud music. Officers made contact with homeowner, who advised he would turn down the music.
1:42 AM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of Breeze Dr. in reference to loud music. No loud music was heard in the area; all was okay.
4:40 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of IH-35 N. in reference to a male subject threatening staff and refusing to leave the store. Store employee advised he didn’t want to press any charges, he just wanted the subject to leave location. The subject departed the area; everything was okay.
5:21 AM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject standing in the roadway. Officer made contact with the subject, who advised he was walking across the street with his dog. Everything was okay.
8:32 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject walking his dog and appearing intoxicated. Contact was made with the subject, who was not intoxicated. Everything was okay.
9:23 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Wallace Dr. reported a Toyota Tundra was taken between 1:30 AM and 9:00 AM. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were inside. The vehicle was entered into TCIC/NCIC. Value $10,000.
10:03 AM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject who was talking to himself.
10:32 AM – An adult male subject was transported to Southwest General Hospital for an emergency detention. Dog was taken to kennels.
11:24 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Libold Dr. reported the theft of a Chevy 2500 between 1:00 AM and 11:00 AM. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were in the ignition. The vehicle was entered into TCIC/NCIC. Value $17,000. The vehicle was recovered damaged from a pursuit.
Oct. 11
2:01 AM – Officer assisted MCSO with an alarm call at Natalia City Hall. All doors and windows secure; everything was okay.
2:38 AM – Officer assisted Lytle PD officers fighting with two male subjects behind Bill Millers in Lytle.
2:56 AM- A passerby observed a silver car and two subjects at the gate to a business in the 100 block of CR 773. No one was on location upon officer’s arrival.
2:30 PM – Officer dispatched in reference to a black motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on IH-35 SB; unable to locate.
Oct. 12
3:20 AM – A male subject was sleeping in his car on IH-35; all was okay.
12:16 PM – Verbal disturbance between two couples in the 200 block of S. Teel Dr. A 16-year-old female subject was a runaway. Parent en route.
2:30 PM – Motorcycle with passenger on gas tank. DPS unit stopped motorcycle on Littleton and W. Hondo Ave.
5:30 PM – A female subject at Walmart was cited for theft $100-$750 and released.
8:24 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 NB in reference to a black SUV coming into city limits failing to maintain lane.
Oct. 13
3:02 AM – A male subject in the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. was jailed for DWI – 1st. The subject was also in possession of <2 oz. of marijuana.
12:34 PM – Complainant reported a black Chevy four-door parked in the intersection on W. Dilley. The vehicle had blacked out windows and was possibly unoccupied.
12:40 PM – Chief attended monthly Lions Club meeting at Triple C.
1:15 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. believed her laptop was stolen. The laptop was located in the complainant’s home.
6:45 PM – Officer assisted DPS with the pursuit of a Devine stolen truck. Two occupants were jailed after cutting across all lanes of IH-35 and onto Rossville Rd. Pursuit ended on Covey Lane, a dead-end street.
Oct. 14
1:49 PM – A firearm was returned to a resident of Devine who left it in an AirBNB in Colorado.
3:42 PM – Caller advised a silver Chevy with dark tinted windows that was pulling a blue trailer was unable to maintain lanes on IH-35.
5:30 PM – Complainant waited in PD parking lot for deputy in reference to an assault that occurred in the county.
10:48 PM – Officers assisted MCSO in reference to a male subject who pulled a gun on complainant and left the area in a vehicle. Officers assisted county units with traffic stop at Dilley and N. Bright Dr. Everything was okay.
Oct. 15
4:05 PM – Verbal disturbance between complainant and girlfriend in the 200 block of S. Commercial Dr. All was okay.
9:45 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of W. Moore Ave. in reference to a vehicle with an unknown male or model blacked out in the area. Officers patrolled the area, unable to locate.
