Natalia Police Report May 5-13

May 5
5:00 PM – Officer responded to the 1800 blk. of FM 471 S. about a major crash. Officer arrived on scene and checked on the driver for any injuries. EMS showed up on scene and took care of the driver. Officer provided traffic control until DPS arrived on scene.
5:38 PM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of 7th St. about a female sitting in a black vehicle for over an hour and the neighbors were concerned. Officer made contact with the driver and the female stated she was just waiting for her boyfriend to get off work so she could go pick him up. She was from out of town. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
8:05 PM – Officer responded to CR 6712 to assist deputies on an active assault in progress. Officer later arrived on scene with deputies on scene already. Deputies arrested a male subject and later transported him to the Medina County Jail. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
8:20 PM – Officer responded to the 300 blk. of CR 6850 to assist with a fully engulfed trailer. Officer provided traffic and crowd control. The fire was later put out and the officer went back in service.
10:34 PM – Officer responded to the 400 blk. of 7th St. about a snake in the yard. Officer made location and checked for any signs of a snake and had negative results. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
May 6
7:22 PM – Officer responded to the 2100 blk. of FM 463 to assist with a one-car rollover. Officer arrived on scene and was advised the driver was outside the vehicle and appeared to be dazed from the crash. EMS arrived on scene and took custody of the patient. The trooper later arrived on scene and worked the crash.
May 7
3:18 PM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop to speak to an employee who had his black Ford F-250 stolen from in front of the parking lot. Officer gathered all the vehicle’s information and was later put into Texas Crime Information Center and National Information Center as stolen.
May 10
12:44 PM – Officer responded to FM 471 S. towards Pearson Rd. about a suicidal female with her small children. Officer saw the truck and female in question and got the vehicle stopped at the 1800 blk. of FM 471. The officer asked where the children were, and the lady stated with a babysitter. Officer stood by and waited for a deputy to arrive and take over the scene. Officer later cleared the scene and went back in service.
May 13
12:10 AM – Officer answered a call for service in front of the Natalia PD in reference to a verbal disturbance. Officer made contact with the male subject and listened to what he had to say about someone who took his two cats and was following him. Officer spoke to the other party and took everyone’s information and ran them for any warrants. The complainant came back wanted out of Medina County and the warrant was confirmed. Officer took the man in custody and transported him to the Medina County Jail.
