Devine Police Report May 3-9

May 3
5:26 PM – Officer dispatched to Hwy. 173 in reference to a male subject laying in the median next to the roadway. Updated location was in Frio County; notified.
May 4
12:15 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Brown reported a lost brown wallet with cash and two credit cards.
12:19 PM – Officer assisted DPS with traffic control for a major accident on FM 3176.
6:58 PM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to assault by contact – family violence. Complainant stated her boyfriend showed up and assaulted her, then departed before officer arrived.
May 5
9:35 PM – Officer dispatched to the Devine Little League Field in reference to a light on in the press box. Door was secure; all was okay.
May 6
8:40 AM – School Resource Officer noticed a female outside a store in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. The subject was identified; all was okay.
7:20 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 600 block of Hondo Ave. The female driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
May 7
9:05 AM – Complainant reported losing a brown bi-fold wallet, last seen at the Devine Little League Field.
9:39 AM – Complainant spoke to officer in reference to an agency holding felony warrants for two subjects for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Requesting attempt to locate.
9:53 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. reported hearing a verbal disturbance. Officers made contact with a male subject and a female subject.
11:11 AM – Officers served a Gillespie Co. warrant on a female subject in the 700 block of N. Transportation Dr. for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
2: 03 PM – Complainant at Walmart advised two men in a black Audi with an out-of-state license plate parked close to her vehicle and began asking questions and complimenting her vehicle.
10:28 PM – Complainant reported a stalled pickup in the middle of the eastbound lane of E. Hondo Ave. The vehicle was moved out of the way.
May 8
9:15 PM – Complainant on Windy Knoll Dr. reported a white Dodge Challenger with a black stripe driving up and down the road at a low rate of speed. Unable to locate.
May 9
7:45 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of Wedgewood Way reported a male subject walking around. Unable to locate.
12.24 PM – Possible burglary of a vehicle at Walmart. A female with a pink wig and black hat and coat appeared to be breaking into a vehicle. Family advised the subject has mental health issues and was not taking meds.
