Natalia Police Report May 16-21


May 16
10:19 AM – Officer responded to assist Devine PD with a motorcycle chase going towards Natalia on Hwy. 132. Officer was able to help get the motorcycle stopped and two people were taken into custody for felony charges. Officer later cleared the scene without incident.
12:42 PM – Officer responded to the 200 block of FM 471 S. about a disturbance. Officer arrived on location and spoke to both female parties arguing. Officer was able to get one of the ladies to depart the residence while the other packed her things and had her son go pick her up. No charges were filed on either party.
10:44 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General about an alarm call front counter motion. Officer arrived on location, checked all doors and windows and no entry was gained. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
11:44 PM – Officer responded with a Medina County Sheriff to the 200 block of CR 6852 in an attempt to serve a felony warrant. The warrant was served on an individual and taken into custody without incident.
May 17
8:30 AM – Officer responded to the 2100 block of Hwy. 132 about a suicidal female. Officer spoke to the female and she did want to end her life. Officer filled out an emergency detention warrant on her and transported her to a local hospital for medical treatment.
1:26 PM – Officer responded to the 100 block of CR 789 about a medical emergency. Officer arrived on scene and was unable to gain entry into the residence due to it being locked. Officer received permission to kick in the door and gain entry due to the exigent circumstances. EMS arrived on scene and took over.
5:50 PM – Officer responded to the 200 block of 3rd St. about a disturbance. Officer spoke to the parties involved. The male actor left without incident.
May 18
11:42 AM – Officer responded to the Natalia Middle School about a civil matter (child visitation) by the biological father. Officer spoke to the mother and advised there wasn’t anything that could be done unless there are court papers in place and are not expired.
5:20 PM – Officer responded to assist the MCSO on a 2-year-old child walking around by the roadway at the 600 block of CR 6851. Officer arrived on scene and then the deputy. The deputy called for EMS to check out the infant. Officer went back in service.
6:20 PM – Officer assisted in finding a reckless driver headed southbound. Officer advised a trooper had caught up with the reckless driver and was later determined the driver was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
May 19
1:30 PM – Officer responded to the 800 block of 6th St. about a disturbance. Officer arrived on location to locate the aggressor, but he had already absconded the residence. Officer left statement forms to be filled out and a report would be filed at large for assault.
May 20
4:05 PM – Officer called back a complainant who stated he lost his wallet by laying it on top of his car when he left Love’s Truck Stop. Complainant stated he had already cancelled his debit card and any other credit cards he may have.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to the 200 block of 9th St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer spoke to the complainant and he stated his brother had left a syringe on a dresser and got mad at him. The brother left before the officer arrived on location. Officer collected all his information and cleared the scene.
6:48 PM – Officer responded to assist the sheriff’s office with an active disturbance in the 600 block of CR 6612. Officer arrived on scene and observed a white male with a deep laceration to his right eyebrow. Deputies and EMS arrived on scene, so the officer later cleared the scene.
9:45 PM – Officer was responding to 4th and Palfrey St. about a female yelling inside a white truck. Officer was unable to locate the truck, but was told later the truck was followed to Devine by a citizen. Officers from Devine and the officer observed the white truck in question driving by. Officers gave chase after the white pickup started traveling at high rates of speed. The truck was later stopped in the 2000 block of FM 463. The truck came back stolen out of Atascosa County at which time it was confirmed. Officer later cleared the scene and the driver was taken to the Medina County Jail.
May 21
12:55 AM – Officer responded to the 700 block of Palfrey St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on scene and later found out it was not a disturbance, but a male subject that had fallen down and was yelling at his son. Officer determined there were no problems and later left the scene.
