Natalia Police Report Dec. 30-Jan. 4

Dec. 30
10:47 AM – Officer responded to the IH-35 S and FM 471 area for a female that was assaulted on the side of the road by a white male. Officers arrived on location and spoke to a couple of witnesses. The witness stated the male subject was dragging the female by her head of hair and trying to get her inside of a car. The witness stated he stepped in and didn’t allow the female to get in the car. Officers stated the male subject had fled the scene prior to their arrival. Female was checked by EMS and later transported to an area hospital to get checked out.
Dec. 31
10:31 AM – Officer responded to the 700 block of 4th St. and spoke to a male subject about someone cutting some wires from under the hood of a parked car, along with wires inside the drivers side were cut as well. Officer following up on the case.
Jan. 1
5:05 PM – Officer responded to the 700 block of 4th St. about two suspicious persons in a vehicle. Officer made contact with the complainant and he stated he was walking with a few friends when a gray SUV drove by them really slow, not saying anything to them, just staring at them and making everyone feel uncomfortable. Officer searched the area and later cleared the scene.
Jan. 3
9:38 AM – Officer responded to the 400 block of Bennett St. about some vicious stray dogs in the area. Officer advised the resident he would inform the animal control officer and try to get the dogs picked up and keep them from biting anyone.
Jan. 4
7:47 PM – Officers stopped a male subject on a motorcycle for speeding at the intersection of CR 6712 and Hwy. 132. After speaking to the cyclist, his registration was expired, no driver’s license, no insurance, and had narcotics in his possession. The male subject was arrested and transported to the Medina County Jail. The motorcycle was towed.
