Natalia Police Report August 6-12

August 6
9:01 p.m. – Officer responded to the 400 blk. of Bartlett St. about harassment. Officer contacted the reportee and he advised the Officer that his ex-wife kept driving by his house, yelling at him wanting their daughter and that she was going to keep going by until she can see her daughter. The reportee advised the Officer his ex-wife was into hard drugs and he didn’t want their daughter in that environment.
August 8
8:40 p.m. – Officer responded to the Love’s Struck Stop in Natalia about a private property crash. Officer made location and spoke to both drivers. Officer issued blue form to both drivers and explained the form in its entirety. Both drivers agreed to go inside store and exchange information.
August 9
9:00 p.m. – Officer responded to the Natalia High School about a female that was disoriented. Officer arrived on location and contacted the female who was very sweaty and had scratches all over her legs from running in the woods. Officer called AMR medical services to treat her scrapes and further medical evaluation on her. The patient was transported to San Antonio to a local hospital for medical evaluation.
August 11
4:15 p.m. – Officer responded to the 500 block of 5th Street about a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on location and contacted the reportee. Officer was advised her niece and her boyfriend were arguing verbally back and forth and it never got physical. The boyfriend left prior to the Officer’s arrival. No charges were filed.
9:18 p.m. – Officer was flagged down by a passerby advising the Officer there was a female sitting on the ground at the intersection of Depot Rd and FM 471, unsure what was wrong with her. The passerby also stated there was a silver pickup almost backed into the female. Officer made the location and was unable to locate anyone.
9:53 p.m. – Officer responded to the 900 block of 5th Street about a verbal disturbance between father and son. Officer contacted the reportee and she stated her husband and son had been drinking alcohol and started to get into a verbal argument. Reportee stated her son broke the sliding glass door somehow, but wasn’t sure if it was done purposely or not. Officer contacted the son sitting in a truck parked in the back yard. Officer spoke to both father and son and determined there were no further threats of fighting going to continue this night. Officer cleared the scene.
August 12
10:00 a.m. – Officer responded to the Natalia High School, about a 15 Year old male hurt his neck during football drills. AMR medical services were dispatched to the football field, where the young man was transported to Methodist Children’s Hospital for x-rays and further medical evaluations.
11:30 a.m. – Officer responded to the Natalia Police Department about phone harassment. Officer spoke to the reportee and she stated a male subject who lives on 4th Street got her cell phone number off of her face book. The reportee also told the Officer the subject keeps sending explicit photographs and text messages to her phone. The Officer asked to see the messages and photos, but the reportee had already erased them all. Officer advised the reportee if the texts and photos continue, she needed to bring them into the Police Department to file against the suspect.
4:15 p.m. – Officer responded to St. Hwy 132 in Natalia, about a one car crash. Officer made the location and found two young adults standing outside the car. Officer checked for injuries and there were none. The driver told the Officer his steering wheel locked up and went off the road. The Officer worked the accident and later cleared the scene.
7:30 p.m. – Officer responded to the Love’s Truck Stop in Natalia about a theft of keys. Officer contacted the victim and she stated that she was in line to pay for her items, left her keys on the counter and walked away. She asked the Manager if they could look at the video footage and see who might have picked them up. The video showed a Hispanic male who was standing right behind her at the time, pick them up and put them in his pocket. The male subject left the store and the Officer wasn’t able to identify the male subject. Officer reviewed the video and case is pending investigation.
