Lytle Police Report August 7-13

August 7
12:40 AM – Officers responded to Twin Lakes for a report of shots being fired. Officers were unable to locate.
9:05 AM – Officer responded to US Renal Care for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind the facility during the morning. Complainant stated the vehicle stayed about 15 minutes then left.
1:53 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 S at Mile Marker 131 for a report of a two vehicle crash.
2:30 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. for a report of an alarm.
5:48 PM – Officer responded to Lytle-Somerset St. area for a report of a family panhandling at the Taco Bell area. Officer located the family and they agreed to get in their vehicle and leave.
6:03 PM – Officer observed an abandoned vehicle parked at IH 35 S Frontage near Office St. and red tagged the vehicle.
7:09 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of two juvenile brothers fighting.
8:10 PM – Officer responded to Taco Bell to talk to complainant in reference to finding a bag full of miscellaneous items in the dumpster. It was determined the contents were of no value, therefore left in the dumpster.
8:40 PM – Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of N. Benton St. for a report of a disturbance between a mother and her son.
9:45 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 133 for a report of a person walking in the median. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
August 8
5:49 AM – Officer conducted a follow-up on an open case on a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was recovered by SAPD with one apprehension as a result. Officer attempted to notify the owner and left a message. Vehicle was a Toyota Camry taken from S. Prairie St. on June 26, 2017.
11:52 – Officer responded to US Renal Care to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
2:35 PM – Officer responded to Twin Liquors for a report of an intoxicated customer who became abusive when her purchase was denied.
3:50 PM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of Lake Shore Dr. for a report of an alarm. Officer found an older male who stated that the alarm went off by accident and all was okay.
4:54 PM – Officer responded to Days Inn and provided a courtesy ride to San Antonio.
6:00 PM – Officer responded to 19900 Blk. of FM 3175 to assist a stranded motorist with a jump start. It didn’t appear to be the battery and complainant called AAA for assistance.
6:40 PM – Officer responded to Camino Real to assist Atascosa Co. Constable Deputy with transporting a patient.
10:10 PM – Officer noticed a red Honda Accord on the Frontage Rd. of IH 35 SB that was still tagged. The vehicle was towed.
10:24 PM – Officer responded to 19900 Blk. of FM 3175 for a report of a disruptive patient. Outcome resulted in the emergency detention of patient who was transported to University Hospital.
August 9
4:30 AM – Officer responded to Bill Millers BBQ for an alarm.
6:44 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 S at Mile Marker 130 for a report of an 18 wheeler accident. It was discovered that the 18 wheeler was stuck in mud in the center median.
7:38 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 S for a report of an 18 wheeler blocking the ramp. Officer located the truck and spoke with the driver who stated was having engine problems.
11:10 AM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Main St. for a report of an alarm. Officer arrived and found a small hole in the back window. Officer found no other signs of criminal activity.
11:30 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
1:10 PM – Officer conducted a follow-up investigation on an open case. The victim did not wish to pursue charges.
1:41 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 SB at Mile Marker 131 for a report of a traffic hazard involving an 18 wheeler trying to pull another 18 wheeler out of the mud. Officer advised driver to call the Police Station back so traffic lane could be closed.
3:30 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 SB at Mile Marker 131 to assist with traffic control for a vehicle that was stuck in the median. The vehicle was pulled out by a wrecker.
11:45 PM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. to assist DPS with a vehicle search. DPS arrested and transported an adult female to Atascosa Co. Jail.
August 10
10:55 AM – Officer responded to 300 Hoffman Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a domestic disturbance. Subject left prior to officer’s arrival.
12:55 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at Benton St. for a welfare check on an elderly female. Officer was unable to locate.
1:20 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 S for a report of an overturned 18 wheeler just 1.5 miles north of Lytle. Officer drove to Shepard Rd. then down to Natalia but was unable to locate.
2:55 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and reported his stolen checks cashed at the HEB Plus. Case under investigation.
4:38 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a two vehicle crash.
6:00 PM – Officers responded to Camino Real Crisis Center for a report of a verbal disturbance which resulted in the arrest of a 27-year-old male subject for having two Active Warrants out of Wilson Co. for Assault Family Violence and Unlawful Restraint. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
9:27 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to providing paperwork for his case.
August 11
7:07 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a reckless driver. Officer was able to stop the vehicle and identified the driver.
10:07 AM – Officer responded to 18400 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a suspicious man standing in complainant’s driveway. Officer arrived and identified the male and gave him a verbal trespass notice.
10:29 AM – Officers responded to 15100 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a disturbance. Officers spoke to both residents who stated it was a verbal argument only. No signs of a struggle or assault noted.
1:00 PM – Officer responded to Oak Park Country Club to assist a disabled motorist with a jump start.
3:08 PM – Officer responded to Valero for a report of a suspicious vehicle occupied by 2 individuals acting suspiciously. Officer was unable to locate.
3:30 PM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a reckless driver. Officer was unable to locate.
3:30 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a report of the natural death of a 57-year-old male patient.
5:45 PM – Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a verbal disagreement between complainant and her mother in regards to complainant’s boyfriend. No offense occurred.
8:15 PM – Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a dead animal thrown onto complainant’s property. Officer arrived and spoke with the resident who stated it smelled like dead animal but did not know where it was. Officer was unable to smell or find evidence of an animal in the area.
August 12
8:53 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
11:41 AM – Officer responded to SH 132 at CR 6840 and provided a courtesy ride to an adult female to Haven for Hope Facility in San Antonio.
11:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a reckless driver in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
11:00 PM – Officers responded to Adams St. at Prairie St. for a report of a reckless driver. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
August 13
12:40 AM – Officer responded to Duck Pond Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a disturbance call.
11:57 AM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Laredo St. for a report of a verbal disturbance over child custody.
3:38 PM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Cottage St. for a report of a verbal argument over child custody. Complainant’s vehicle was kicked while leaving but there was no damage. Suspect was located and issued a criminal trespass notice for complainant’s residence.
4:43 PM – Traffic stop at Lytle-Somerset St. and S. Somerset St. resulted in the arrest of a 27-year-old female subject for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Subject was cited and released.
6:22 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
