Natalia Police Report Aug. 3-6

Aug. 3
11:30 PM – Officer responded to the intersection of Bennett and 7th St. for a suspicious white vehicle driving around. Officer made location and searched the area and was unable to locate any vehicle fitting the description.
Aug. 5
11:30 PM – Officer responded to the NHS Agricultural building for a break-in. Officer advised entry was made into the building through the concession stand window facing the baseball field. Suspect is unknown at this time, pending investigation.
Aug. 6
5:16 PM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of 5th St. about an unknown person who ran over a gas meter. Officer arrived on scene and didn’t see that the meter was leaking any gas. The gas company was called out to repair the meter.
9:15 PM – Officer responded to the 800 blk. of 7th St. about two suspicious subjects sitting in a car next to an abandoned house. Officer made contact with he subjects, and they both advised they were just visiting. Officer had the subjects leave the area.
11:30 PM – Officer responded to the 2600 blk. of IH-35 S. in an attempt to locate an active disturbance on the side of the road. Officer drove up on a black Dodge pickup with a male and female that appeared to be arguing with each other. Both subjects were having a verbal argument and they both stated it never got physical. The two subjects were later released.
