Natalia Police Report April 21-26

April 21
7:50 PM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of Palfrey St. about a verbal disturbance between two brothers. Officer arrived on scene and spoke to the complainant and then his brother. The argument was over a shed that was on the property that was moved without the other brother’s permission and that started the verbal argument. The shed was moved back and all was solved.
10:30 PM – Officers responded to the area of IH-35 N. and FM 471 looking for a small white Toyota pickup being followed by a white Ford F-250 who believed the man in the Toyota pickup may have stolen some personal property. Officers got the truck stopped at the 200 blk. of 9th St. and was later determined by the witness that the man in the Toyota didn’t take any of his tools or property after looking into the back bed of his pickup. A deputy was on scene with the officers and issued a criminal trespass warning to the suspect.
April 22
3:24 PM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of Palfrey St. about two brothers having another argument again. Officer spoke to both brothers and resolved the problem. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
April 23
12:50 AM – Officer responded to the 700 blk. of Palfrey St. about someone firing off approximately three shots out of a gun. Officer spoke to the complainant and it was later determined a female relative of hers showed up on the property and fired off three shots described as coming from a shotgun. Officer gathered all the information and the suspect had already fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.
April 24
10:33 PM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of Palfrey St. for a disturbance. Officer arrived on scene and made contact with the complainant and he stated his brother tried to run over him with his pickup and did in fact brush him on his forearm and leg, causing him pain. The brother drove away prior to the officer’s arrival. Officer collected all the victim’s information and took photographs of the crime scene. Case pending.
April 25
10:12 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General about an intoxicated man asleep behind the building. Officer made contact with a white male who appeared to be highly intoxicated due to the strong odor of alcohol on his breath and unable to stand on his own when asked by the officer. The officer later arrested the male subject for Public Intoxication because he was a danger to himself and others.
April 26
1:50 PM – Officer responded to the 200 blk. of 9th St. where officer contacted the homeowner about a PVC pipe running out of her house and into the next yard over and appeared to be gray wastewater. Officer gave a warning to the resident to fix the problem and was given 30 days to do so.
