Devine Police Report April 19-25

April 19
3:00 AM – Officers dispatched to the 1100 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to a male subject walking in the roadway. The subject was given a courtesy ride home to the 500 block of Mesquite.
12:45 PM – Complainant reported a red vehicle all over the roadway on IH-35 SB. Vehicle parked on side of road.
8:28 PM – Report of a male involved in a verbal dispute with neighbor in the 400 block of Pilgrim. All was okay.
10:40 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Windy Knoll Dr. advised she heard noises.
April 20
8:59 AM – Verbal disturbance between complainant and her husband in the 700 block of Tuttle Dr. Parties separated.
6:24 PM – Officer dispatched to FM 463 by Medina County Sheriff’s Office to assist a trooper on a case. Officer canceled.
April 21
3:46 AM – Officer dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a physical disturbance between several male subjects. The subjects left prior to officer’s arrival. All was okay; no complainant for any assault.
April 22
5:23 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Davis Ave. was having a verbal disturbance with her son. The son departed prior to officers’ arrival.
6:01 AM – Officer executed a Bexar County warrant on a male subject in the 500 block of N. Transportation Dr.
9:29 AM – Complainant in the 1000 block of Malone Dr. advised someone broke into his garage and his truck. A stereo was stolen.
4:15 PM – Complainant reported an older model gray Suburban driven by an elderly female was all over the roadway on Allman Dr., driving toward DuBose and the golf course. Unable to locate.
9:12 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 200 block of N. Transportation Dr. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
April 23
12:47 AM – Officer dispatched to the 700 block of Palfrey to assist Natalia PD with a disturbance between two female subjects. One female allegedly discharged a shotgun multiple times before leaving location.
2:30 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on IH-35. A female passenger was found to have a Bexar County warrant for assault and was jailed.
11:00 AM – Officers assisted Public Works with traffic control on Teel Dr.
4:20 PM – Student on location at a business in the 200 block of S. Transportation Dr. Officer made contact with complainant, and vehicle left prior to arrival.
Complainant in the 900 block of Devine Dr. spoke to officer in reference to forgery on several checks valued at $1,500.
7:59 PM – Officer dispatched to business in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. in reference to a female subject and a male subject on location where they weren’t wanted. Trespass notification given.
April 24
1:40 AM – Officers assisted Lytle PD by returning a male subject to his mother’s residence in the 100 block of W. Galbreath Ave. Officer wanted assistance in case the mother refused to let the male subject stay. All was okay.
2:14 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of Transportation Dr. The male driver was found to have an active warrant for possession and was jailed.
April 25
9:18 AM – Physical disturbance between two brothers in the 500 block of Corley Dr. No weapons.
9:52 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Dixon Dr. advised a contractor was working on gas lines and struck a line that was not marked. West Texas Gas was contacted.
12:15 PM – Railroad arm damaged by semi tractor trailer on the westbound side of E. Hondo Ave.
3:20 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Crouch Ave. brought in paperwork regarding identity theft for officer to look at.
6:35 PM – Vehicle overheated on IH-35 SB. Moved from highway.
