Natalia Police Report

Feb. 18
Officer observed a driver at the intersection of IH 35 (s) and Exit ramp 127, speeding. The officer stopped the driver and placed him under arrest for Failure to Provide Financial Responsibility and cited for speeding.
Feb. 19
Officer was dispatched to the Love’s truck stop for big trucks blocking the entrance of the location. The officer made contact with 6 truck drivers and had them move their vehicle away from the entrance and FM 471, to avoid a traffic hazard.
Feb. 20
Officer observed a possible impaired driver on the public roadway, made contact with the driver and realized the driver had previously been convicted of driving while license suspended. The driver was arrested and transported to MCSO jail and booked for the same offense
Feb. 22
Officer Responded to a traffic violation, disregard stop sign at the 2100 block of 471 in Natalia. Upon making contact with the driver, officer discovered the driver’s license was suspended. A female passenger was released to leave after the driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license
Officer responded to the 300 block of Aubrey for a disturbance between a male and female, a report was taken and nothing further occurred.
Officer responded to the 100 block of 5th Street for a burglary report, upon arrival the officer found a jacket and a black baseball bat laying near a broken window.
Feb. 23
Officer responded to several abandoned vehicles at the 400 block of Bartlett St. Upon his arrival, the officer noted 4 vehicles in a state of abandonment; the owner was issued a warning for each violation of the City Ordinance.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of 7th Street for suspicious persons. Upon arrival the officer contacted the home owner, who stated two male subjects had been on her property against her permission. She stated the subjects were chased away by her husband and advised to not return.
