Natalia Police Blotter July 19-25

Early within the month, an incident occurred when a male subject was found on surveillance video, throwing a heavy object into the window of Natalia Nutrition, causing significant damages to the storefront. After a thorough investigation and the cooperation within social media, the male subject was identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest, including a signed confession. The arrest was made without further incident and is charged with Criminal Mischief – >$2,500 < $30,000 which is a State Jail Felony.
On July 19, 2021, Officers were called to the CD Tire Shop, where it was determined that catalytic converters had been removed on an undisclosed number of vehicles.
On July 21, 2021, reports were taken for what is suspected to be criminal mischief at the First Baptist Church in Natalia. Please report any suspicious activity you may see around the area.
On July 22, 2021, Officers were called to the Natalia ISD bus barn for a burglary of a vehicle. Investigation is pending with no additional information at this time.
On July 22, 2021, a report was taken for a stolen vehicle. Further investigation into the location of the vehicle uncovered that the vehicle was already located with the last GPS location in Juarez, Mexico. No potential suspects are known at this time.
On July 22, 2021, a female who was known to have an active felony warrant for Assault (Family Violence), was apprehended and taken into custody. Upon contact and prior to transport, the female subject was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 < 1gram.
