The Natalia Mustang Cross Country team edged out third place Karnes City 59-64 to advance to next month’s Regional meet in Corpus Christi. Lytle captured the team championship with 19 points.
Noah Gilkey led the Mustang charge as he ran a 17:39 recorded time in the three-mile race. Others scoring for Natalia were Isaac Rios, Coltin Richardson, Jared Stallworth, and Devin Chapa.
