Sept. 21
6:31 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 to assist Atascosa Co. with a suspicious person. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
12:15 PM – Officer responded to Texas Western Warehouse for a report of an unknown suspect who shot a pellet gun at the store window causing the window to break.
3:15 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to a civil matter.
6:49 PM – Officers responded to 19400 Blk. of Dawson St. to unlock a vehicle.
Sept. 22
12:50 AM – Officers responded to 19900 Blk. of FM 3175 for a report of a suspicious person. Officers located the adult female subject and provided a courtesy ride.
1:42 AM – Officers responded to N. Somerset St. at 2790 N and assisted a stranded motorist with a tire change.
6:47 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of an alarm.
8:57 AM – Officer responded to Main St. at Diaz St. for a report of two loose pigs. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
9:25 AM – Officer responded to Juarez St. at San Jose St. for a report of suspicious persons with backpacks standing on the corner between 1am-2am. The complaint requested additional patrols in the area.
9:47 AM – Officer responded to 15800 Blk. of White Cap Dr. to unlock a vehicle.
10:30 AM – Officer distributed masks to city businesses.
12:57 PM – Officer responded to 14400 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the driver was homeless. The driver left the area.
Sept. 23
9:37 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
10:34 AM – Officer distributed masks to city businesses.
11:24 AM – Officer responded to Days Inn for a report of a civil matter – landlord/tenant dispute.
2:14 PM – Officer responded to 15900 Blk. of Lake Side St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
4:57 PM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of a panic alarm. Officer arrived and it turned out to be false.
5:45 PM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of Mason St. for a report of gunshots. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
6:45 PM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. at Lake St. to assist Animal Control with a dog attacking two females. The dogs were located and Animal Control Officer was contacted.
6:58 PM – Officer responded to Live Oak St. for a report of a pony that wondered onto a yard. Officers were able to contact the owner of the pony who advised they would attempt to catch it the next day.
8:58 PM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of a panic alarm. Officer arrived and it turned out to be false.
9:35 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Crossing P-Lot for a report of a large group of vehicles in the parking lot.
9:40 PM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of an alarm.
10:46 PM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of a panic alarm. Officer arrived and it turned out to be false.
Sept. 24
2:46 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a suspicious pickup between the fitness center and Quicksilver. All was okay, it turned out to be a member leaving the fitness center.
2:59 AM – While conducting a business check at Pachangon Auto Sales officer found the gate to the car lot wide open.
9:06 AM – Officer distributed masks to city businesses.
10:01 AM – Officer responded to John’s Small Engine and talked to complainant in reference to the open case on the stolen weapon. The complainant located the weapon and wanted to update the report.
12:01 PM – Officers responded to McDonald’s for a report of a reckless driver. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
2:27 PM – Officer responded to 14500 Blk. of FM 2790 W for a report of a two vehicle crash.
2:38 PM – Officer responded to Camino Real Crisis Center to assist Atascosa Co. with an emergency detention. Officers made location and waited with the patient until Deputies arrived to transport the patient.
5:50 PM – Officer responded to Methodist Food Bank for a report of a suspicious person sleeping behind the food bank. The male was identified and he agreed to vacate the area.
7:37 PM – Officer responded to Exxon and talked to complainant in reference to a civil matter.
8:00 PM – Officer responded to Coal Mine Subdivision for a report of a suspicious red SUV in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
8:30 PM – Officers responded to Community National Bank for a report of a suspicious male walking in the area. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
9:10 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to extra patrol due to an estranged boyfriend calling her numerous times.
Sept. 25
8:30 AM – Officer distributed masks to city businesses.
1:35 PM – Officer responded to Tots to Teens for a report of an alarm. An employee was entering the rear door.
4:25 PM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of a panic alarm.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of a two vehicle crash.
7:15 PM – Officer responded to O’Reilly Auto Parts for a report of a theft of an LED light bar valued at less than $100.
Sept. 26
2:45 AM – While conducting a business check at Best Western Plus, officer located an unlocked door leading into the swimming pool. Officer advised the clerk of the open door and the officer locked and closed the door.
6:25 AM – Officer responded to Big Tex Trailers for a report of an alarm.
9:30 AM – Officers distributed masks while attending the Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market.
12:15 PM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus for a lost cell phone.
2:00 PM – Officer handed out promotional items throughout the city.
2:15 PM – Officers responded to the 19400 Blk. of S. Benton St. for a report of suspicious activity.
4:10 PM – Officers responded to the US Renal Care for a subject in a mental health crisis. The subject was transported to Southwest General hospital for an evaluation.
4:44 PM – Officers responded to the Exxon for a suspicious person.
8:45 PM – Officer assisted with unlocking a vehicle at the HEB Plus.
9:25 PM – Officer responded to the 15300 Blk. of Oak St. for a residential alarm.
11:30 PM – Officer responded to the 18400 Blk. of FM 2790 N for a suspicious person call.
Sept. 27
12:10 AM – Officer responded to the 19600 Blk. of S. Benton St. for a report of an unknown male inside the home. Officer located and arrested a 27-year-old male subject for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation.
5:30 AM – Officer responded to the Yumm #10 for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.
1:01 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
4:49 PM – Officers responded to CR 6842 @ CR 6843 for a suspicious vehicle call.
6:04 PM – While on patrol, officer noticed the stop sign at FM 2790 E and IH 35 N was down. Officer notified TXDOT and a temporary sign was placed.
7:41 PM – Officer responded to Beall’s for a report of a homeless man who appeared angry and was talking to himself. Officer located the male subject who stated he was headed to Eagle Pass and wanted water and that a person had provided him with water and now was okay.
10:19 PM – Officers responded to 21100 Blk. of Naegelin Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with locating a white Ford F250 in connection with a disturbance. Officers were unable to locate.
