Devine Police Report Sept. 11-17

Sept. 11
12.46 AM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Corley in reference to a dog in the area barking for four hours. Officers spoke to owner of dog; everything was okay.
6:38 AM – Officer assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Department in the 1100 block of IH-35. Caller stated a Hispanic male subject with a black shirt and duffle bag ran behind the property. Officer assisted by checking CR 773 IH-35 NB for male subject.
12:00 PM – Report of an 18-wheeler parking on Jack Nicklaus at 9:00 PM
1:43 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Mockingbird Ln advised a white pickup appeared to be unloading brush at address. Everything was okay.
10:00 PM – Officers patrolled area behind Warhorse Stadium in reference to fireworks going off in the area; unable to locate.
11:55 PM – Complainant reported a couple walking down the road in the 500 block of Brown Ave. and possibly arguing. Units patrolled the area; unable to locate.
Sept. 12
1:44 PM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject in a black F-150 giving employees a hard time. Subject departed prior to officers’ arrival.
8:06 PM – Officers dispatched in reference to a vehicle behind the peanut factory. Vehicle and individuals were heading to property; all was okay.
Sept. 13
1:36 AM – Disturbance on CR 775; all was okay.
6:20 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of Webb Ave. in reference to suspicious people on the rear part of property. All was okay; individuals were supposed to be working on property.
7:03 PM – Officers made contact with a resident in the 500 block of Monticello and asked him to lower music, which he did.
Sept. 14
1:30 PM – Officer stated complainant in the 200 block of W. Moore Ave. has seen multiple vehicles in and out of the apartment complex.
1:30 PM – Recovery of a lost white iPad Mini.
Sept. 15
7:42 AM – Complainant reported a brown truck tractor hauling a green shed that caught a cable wire and ripped it down. Vehicle driver possibly not aware and did not stop.
8:35 PM – Complainant reported a broken tree on the roadway in the 600 block of Hwy. 132. TxDot was notified and the tree was removed.
10:43 PM – Front gate on Hwy. 132 was open. Keyholder made location and secured gate.
Sept. 16
3:42 AM – Officer dispatched to the 800 block of Warhorse Dr. in reference to a vehicle parked in field playing loud music. Area searched; unable to locate.
4:22 PM – Caller reported 17 semi-tractor trucks parked at Walmart along the roadway. Officer made location and stated there was only one semi-tractor; all was okay.
Sept. 17
2:00 AM – An adult male was transported to Southwest General Hospital by police for an emergency detention.
10:11 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. works for a car dealership and was attempting to repo a truck, but the registered owner was upset. Complainant requested an officer due to the matter becoming a verbal disturbance.
3:13 PM – Report of a possible physical disturbance by two males on Windy Knoll; unable to locate.
3:23 PM – Officer removed a tree branch from the roadway in the 600 block of Colonial Pkwy.
9:13 PM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of N. Washington Dr. in reference to possible gunshots in the area. Officers patrolled the area and located the sound coming from the 300 block of Moore Ave. A juvenile was hitting a fence; all was okay.
9:27 PM – Officer assisted the MCSO with a possible burglary in progress in the 600 block of PF 7616; all was okay.
