2:00 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officers in reference to a civil matter – child custody.
4:00 PM – Officer released property to rightful owner.
4:33 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
Sept. 15
12:45 AM – Officer responded to Chevron and assisted the public with a courtesy ride.
2:03 AM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus for a report of a suspicious pickup truck circling the hotel. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
4:30 AM – Officer responded to John’s Small Engine Works for an alarm.
10:45 AM – Officer responded to US Post Office for a report of a two vehicle crash.
12:28 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Norvell St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a male patient having chest pains.
4:15 PM – Officer responded to 18500 Blk. of FM 2790 N for a report of a natural death.
6:07 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General for a report of a theft of an 18 pack of beer. Total estimated loss $16.95.
8:10 PM – Officers responded to 15200 Blk. of Adams St. for a report of a stray pit bull dog in the area. The dog was located and the owner showed up and took possession of the dog.
10:34 PM – Officer responded to Bill Miller BBQ and initiated a field contact with an individual who was inside the storage container adjacent to the building. After further investigation, it turned out to be the manager.
Sept. 16
2:59 AM – Officer responded to John’s Small Engine for a report of an alarm.
3:20 AM – Officers responded to 15200 Blk. of Park Place Dr. to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. and City of Lytle Fire Marshal with a garage fire with a vehicle inside. No injuries were reported.
6:32 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of an unruly customer causing a disturbance. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
9:05 AM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of Bruce St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a 37 YO female that was disoriented. The female was transported to the hospital.
10:40 AM – Officer responded to US Post Office to unlock a vehicle.
11:45 AM – Officer was stopped by a passing motorist at the HEB Plus to report a phone scam. The resident of Mesquite St. stated he received a phone call stating it was from Social Security Department requesting information. The complainant wanted to report the phone call.
12:16 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a hit & run.
12:45 PM – Officer responded to US Renal Care for a report of a two vehicle crash.
1:15 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
3:00 PM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a written threat. Upon arrival, it was discovered the threat was to pawn her grandmother’s wedding ring. The ring was returned after speaking to the granddaughter.
5:07 PM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of N Benton St. for a report of a hit & run that occurred at the HEB Plus P-Lot between the hours of 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm.
6:08 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a theft. Upon arrival, it was discovered there were four fruit trees stolen for an estimated loss of $172.92.
9:44 PM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. at Tippen Rd. for a report of an unknown pick up traveling in the opposite direction that came into the complainant’s lane causing both drivers’ side mirror to collide. The unknown vehicle left the scene traveling south on Wisdom Rd.
9:55 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General to unlock a vehicle. The vehicle departed prior to officer’s arrival.
Sept. 17
8:56 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a civil matter.
10:06 AM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a welfare check on a suicidal subject. Officer made contact with the male subject who just had a break up with his wife. The male subject was distraught but denied having any thoughts of hurting himself or others.
11:29 AM – Officers responded to 18400 Blk. of W FM 2790 S for a report of a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on scene and upon further investigation, officers discovered a physical disturbance had occurred. A 30-year-old male subject was arrested for Assault Bodily Injury – Family Violence.
8:51 PM – Officers responded to Lytle State Bank for a report of fireworks at the bank. Officers made contact with contractors utilizing fireworks for bird control.
Sept. 18
12:24 AM – Officers responded to 15000 Blk. of Short St. and talked to complainant in reference to an open case. The complainant provided documents related to the case.
12:58 AM – Officers responded to San Jose St. at Diaz St. for a report of a suspicious person walking near the railroad tracks. Officers made contact with a female subject who stated she was walking to a friend’s house after a verbal argument with her partner.
3:10 AM – Officers responded to McDonald’s for a report of an alarm. Officers made contact with the employees and found no criminal activity or foul play.
5:35 AM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. and provided traffic control to while an 18 wheeler driver reconnected his trailer that became separated as he pulled out of the Days Inn.
7:20 AM – Officer responded to the 15000 Blk. of Rodeo St. to assist a motorist.
10:37 AM – Officer responded to the Pumphouse Car Wash to assist with unlocking a vehicle.
1:17 PM – Officer responded to the Bill Millers to assist with unlocking a vehicle.
3:42 PM – Officers met with a Child Protective Service investigator at the PD regarding an ongoing investigation.
4:28 PM – Officers responded to the 63300 Blk. of Diaz St. to assist Child Protective Service with an investigation. The incident was determined to be unfounded.
11:55 PM – Officers responded to the Pirate Express for a business alarm.
Sept. 19
12:33 AM – Officers responded to the Exxon to assist a motorist.
12:46 AM – Officers responded to the HEB C-Store for a theft. An unknown male stole a bag of chips and a soda valued at $10.
2:03 AM – Officer attempted a traffic stop on McDonald ST. @ Main ST. The vehicle failed to stop for approx. half a mile. When the vehicle stopped 4 juveniles were discovered inside the vehicle. The parents were contact and all juveniles were released to their parents.
9:08 AM – Officers provided a civil standby by at the PD during a child custody exchange.
10:25 AM – Officer responded to Main St. @ McDonald St. for a 2 vehicle minor accident.
5:31 PM – Officers responded to the HEB C-Store to assist with unlocking a vehicle.
5:58 PM – Officers provided a civil standby by at the PD during a child custody exchange.
9:40 PM – Officers responded to the MC Self Storage for a suspicious vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and all was fine.
11:25 PM – Officers reasoned to the 19400 Blk. of S. Somerset St. for a report of loud music.
Sept. 20
12:00 AM – While on patrol, Officers located a suspicious person walking in the 15100 Blk. of Main St.
2:43 PM – Officers responded to Pecan Grove Apartments for a report of a suspicious person. Officers were unable to locate.
3:12 PM – Officers responded to 19800 Blk. of IH 35 N Frontage Rd. and located a suspicious vehicle on private property while taking aerial photos of land development. Officers made contact with a male subject dove hunting on the property. Officers advised the subject that the area was in the city limits and he could not discharge a firearm within the city limits.
4:01 PM – Officers assisted the public with a drive-by birthday celebration.
6:30 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 NB for a report of a reckless driver entering the county on the northbound side of IH 35. The call was directed to Bexar Co. Sheriff’s Office.
7:38 PM – Officers responded to 15100 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a burglary. The complainant stated she had gone on vacation but when she returned home she noticed her jewelry and title to her truck were missing.
8:45 PM – Offices responded to 17900 Blk. of W FM 2790 S for a report of a dog on the roadway. The dog was handed over to animal control.
