1:55 AM – Officers responded to Camino Real Crisis Center to assist Atascosa EMS with a possible combative male having an episode. Officers stood by while EMS assessed the male subject. The male was transported by Atascosa Co. EMS.
11:35 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a verbal disturbance with a customer refusing to wear a face mask. The customer had already left the store before officer’s arrival.
1:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
2:29 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at IH 35 Access Road for a report of a one vehicle crash.
4:33 PM – Officer responded to Camino Real Crisis Center for a report of a male that fled the center in an unknown vehicle.
7:24 PM – Officers responded to 17900 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a truck obstructing the roadway.
9:07 PM – Officers responded to Whataburger for a report of a two vehicle crash.
9:27 PM – Officers responded to S. Somerset St. at Mesquite St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Oct. 20
12:52 AM – Officers located open gate near the bus barn at the Lytle High School. Officers discovered the gate had been broken for several weeks. No criminal activity discovered.
5:25 AM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a report of a dog running at large and took an aggressive stance towards her which caused complainant concern for her safety. Officer spoke with the dog owner and he agreed to keep his dog under control.
8:55 AM – Officers responded to John’s Small Engine Works for a report of theft of a lawn mower. Total estimated value $50.
9:28 AM – Officers responded to Lytle High School to assist Atascosa EMS with a female having a possible stroke.
10:15 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to someone fraudulently using his O’Reilly’s charge account. Complainant did not want to file a criminal case.
11:30 AM – Officers responded to Hurley Funeral Home and provided funeral escort.
1:12 PM – Officer responded to San Jose St. at Hidalgo St. for a welfare check on an elderly man at Coal Mine Park. The man stated he was waiting for his wife. Officer helped him to his feet and he declined a courtesy ride.
1:46 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 N at Main St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
5:13 PM – Officer responded to US Post Office for a report of found property.
7:42 PM – Officers responded to 14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. to speak with a complainant in regards to threats made against her by her ex-husband.
11:37 PM – While conducting a business check at Days Inn officers found an open hotel room door at the rear of the building. No criminal activity was discovered inside the room.
Oct. 21
6:59 AM – Officer responded to N. Prairie St. at Main St. and assisted a disabled motorist blocking the roadway. The vehicle was pushed off the roadway near S. Prairie St. and Oak St.
8:03 AM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Car Wash to unlock a vehicle.
10:56 AM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of kids shooting at birds with a pellet gun. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
11:20 AM – Officer was notified by Atascosa Co. that the vehicle that was stolen out of Lytle on 4/21/20 had been recovered by Texas DPS in Pearsall. No arrest was made.
Oct. 22
9:17 AM – Officer responded to Lydia’s Trade Market and talked to complainant in reference to two residents that were not getting along. Complainant was left in charge while the owner was away.
1:55 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 Access Rd. at FM 3175 and talked to complainant. She stated that while making the turn from FM 3175 to IH 35 Access Rd. the stop sign fell and struck her vehicle. Officer observed small dent and scratches, damages to the hood, roof and passenger side mirror.
2:00 PM – Office responded to Dollar General for a report of a suspicious male. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
4:48 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
10:02 PM – Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of N. Benton St. and talked to complainant in reference of harassing or threatening messages that she might receive from her brother’s ex-girlfriend. Complainant wanted to report just in case they began occurring.
10:26 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a robbery at gunpoint. The subject had already fled the scene in a blue F-150 headed northbound on IH 35. The suspect stole the complainant’s chain, cell phone and car keys.
Oct. 23
7:35 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
9:15 AM – Officer conducted a follow up investigation on the robbery case that occurred on 10/22/20.
9:38 AM – Officers responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 132 NB for a report of a two vehicle crash.
1:29 PM – Officer responded to Exxon for a report of a two vehicle crash.
4:15 PM – Officer responded to 18500 Blk. of FM 2790 for a report of a panic alarm. The homeowner failed to reset the alarm. Officer was cancelled while en-route. All was okay.
11:06 PM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of Blume Dr. for a report of a welfare check on an elderly person. Officer arrived and made contact, all was okay.
11:16 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a report of a welfare check on an elderly resident. Officer arrived and made contact, all was okay.
Oct. 24
1:24 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
7:15 AM – Officer attended a COVID Fighter Bike Ride at the Lytle High School.
11:15 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and turned in found property. Officer was able to return the property to the rightful owner.
1:26 PM – Officer responded to FM 2490 at Allan Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with a car fire.
1:32 PM – Officer responded to CVS Pharmacy for a report of a shoplifter. Officers were advised an unknown male ran out of the store with an 18 pack of Bud Light beer. Total estimated loss $18.99.
Oct. 25
12:45 AM – Officers responded to 100 Blk. of Terry Ln. to assist Atascosa Co. with a possible assault. Officers were unable to locate the complainant.
2:53 AM – Traffic stop at Lytle Somerset St. and Benton City Rd. resulted in the discovery of drug paraphernalia. A 25-year-old male subject was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released.
4:10 AM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a domestic disturbance. According to witnesses, the victim was dragged out of the vehicle and kicked in the stomach while on the ground. The suspect fled before officers’ arrival. The victim was transported by Atascosa Co. EMS to Southwest General Hospital.
7:21 AM – Officer responded to Pecan Grove Apartments for a report of a suspicious person(s) knocking on the front and rear door of complainant’s apartment. The suspect(s) departed prior to officer’s arrival.
10:11 AM – Officer responded to Pecan Grove Apartments for a report of a suspicious person knocking on complainant’s door stating to let him go in. Then the male returned ringing the door bell and stating that Mikey said to come purchase your car. The male was wearing a brown hoodie and jeans. Extra patrols requested.
11:00 AM – Officer was flagged down by a passing motorist who stated an adult female fell on the road and walked back to her residence after being helped up. Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of N. Somerset St. and made contact with the female and determined everything was okay.
12:25 PM – Officer responded to Lytle True Value for a report of a two vehicle crash.
12:49 PM – Officer responded to Dollar Tree to assist a motorist. The driver of the vehicle was able to start the vehicle without officer’s assistance.
5:35 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious activity. The caller stated 5 suspicious individuals in the HEB Plus walked inside the store then exited without purchasing any items. The men then got into a white van outside the store. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
6:58 PM – Officers responded to Valero for a report of a panhandler asking for money inside the store. Officers made contact with a 51-year-old male subject who had three Active Warrants. Two out of Caldwell Co. for Burglary of a Habitation and the other out of Guadalupe Co. for Theft of Property $750 – $2,500. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
11:41 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 133 for a report of a hit and run. Officers discovered the accident occurred outside the city limits. The call was forwarded to Bexar Co., no injuries were found.
