Devine Police Report Oct. 16-21

Oct. 16
8:18 AM – Construction crew flagged down officer in the 600 block of Colonial Pkwy. and informed that passersby were speeding while they were working. Officer patrolled the area and didn’t see any traffic infractions.
9:03 AM – Report of a tan Ford F-250 with paper plates with about ten to fifteen illegals in the bed of the truck and back seat; unable to locate.
2:31 PM – Items taken from a backyard shed in the 500 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. No video available. Ice chest value $200, weeder value $160, gas pole saw value $650, gas blower value $130. Complainant requested documentation only in case items are taken to pawn shop.
11:15 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Bowman in reference to a red van parked outside a residence; unable to locate.
11:25 PM – Two males in the 300 block of Hester Ave. were smoking. Odor of marijuana detected.
11:51 PM – A male subject in the 300 block of Hester Ave. was found to be in possession of marijuana less than 2 oz. and was jailed.
Oct. 17
9:35 AM – Complainant in the 200 block of Colonial Pkwy. reported a shed where the complainant kept personal cooking items that are used to cook for the church was broken into. Complainant unsure if anything was taken. Latch was broken off the door between 6:30 PM on Oct. 10 and 9:00 AM on Oct. 11.
4:49 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Ingram Rd. reported three bikes taken between 6:45 PM on Oct. 16 and 3:30 PM on Oct. 17. Mountain bike priced at $250 and Walmart kids bikes priced at $49 and $79.
4:53 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of N. Transportation Dr. in reference to a male subject walking with a rake on the side of the road. Officers provided courtesy ride to the 500 block of N. Transportation Dr.
6:20 PM – Complainant in the 1400 block of Libold Dr. reported loud music. Officer spoke to someone in the 400 block of Hermitage Loop and the music was turned down.
11:04 PM – Officers dispatched to CR 5710 in reference to a suspicious person walking down the road. Officers made contact with a male subject who stated he was out for a walk and was headed back home to the 500 block of Mesquite.
Oct. 18
1:26 AM – Report of people fighting behind a business in the 100 block of N. Bright Dr.; unable to locate.
12:43 PM – Officer assisted DPS with a rollover accident on IH-35 NB.
10:18 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of Rossville in reference to a white four-door vehicle stopped in the area with an individual with flashlights who stepped out and walked the area; unable to locate.
Oct. 19
7:02 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Lynx Circle reported the theft of a 2012 cargo trailer that was taken overnight, value $3,300. The trailer contained two theater chairs, value $2,700.
11:22 AM – Complainant at Walmart reported a vehicle had been parked in the parking lot for three days. Manager will contact wrecker company directly if they choose to have it towed.
Oct. 20
8:15 AM – Chief advised that a stop sign was down on N. Upson Dr. Public Works was notified.
9:54 AM – Complainant reported a lost plain black square wallet. Complainant believed she lost her wallet at Walmart on Oct. 19.
9:35 PM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of Oak Hill Dr. in reference to a male subject having a discussion with a female subject. No disturbance occurred.
Oct. 21
8:45 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of W. Hondo Ave. reported a non-authorized transaction was done on her debit card in Eagle Pass.
5:38 PM – Verbal disturbance between a male subject and a female subject in the 300 block of S. Teel Dr.
Oct. 22
12:39 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Mockingbird Lane reported that someone took his camper trailer.
4:45 PM – Burglary of a habitation in the 400 block of Stevens with intent to assault. A female subject was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, who left in a black Toyota wearing black shorts and a red shirt.
4:49 PM – Report of a white Mustang driving recklessly in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave.; unable to locate.
11:49 PM – Officer assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a verbal disturbance in the 100 block of CR 7718. Officer made location; everything was okay.
