Lytle Police Report Nov. 9-15

Nov. 9
5:00 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officer spoke with the complainant who reported she was involved in a verbal disturbance with her boyfriend. The boyfriend departed before officer’s arrival.
7:55 AM – Officer responded to Yumm for a report of a driver sitting in a vehicle. Officer made contact with the driver who was new to the area and fell asleep after getting off work. The driver was given directions to the Lackland AFB area.
9:25 AM – Officer provided fingerprinting for employment purposes.
11:05 AM – Officer responded to Lytle City Hall for a report of damaged property. While weed eating at City Hall, the weed eater hit a rock and struck a window on a camper shell breaking the window of a 2012 Ford F250.
12:31 PM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of Florence St. for a welfare check on an elderly person. Officer made contact, all was okay.
12:41 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash for a welfare check on a 41 YO male who was not feeling well. Officer arrived and made contact with the driver who was disoriented and unsteady on his feet. The male was transported to Southwest General Hospital by Atascosa EMS.
5:10 PM – Officer received a phone call from complainant in regards to her estranged husband who was showing up at her home unannounced.
5:45 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officers in reference to a runaway juvenile.
6:00 PM – Officers responded to 20100 Blk. of IH 35 SB for a report of a hit & run.
6:10 PM – Officer responded to 18100 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. to assist Lytle Animal Control with locating a loose cow. The owner removed the cow from the residence.
7:48 PM – Officers responded to 14900 Blk. of Adams St. for a report of a natural death.
8:48 PM – Officers responded to Juarez St. at Hidalgo St. for a report of suspicious vehicles. Officers located one vehicle with the driver stating she was waiting for a friend to get home.
9:11 PM – Officer responded to Subway for a report of a two vehicle crash.
10:08 PM – While on patrol at Kirk’s Welding, officer noticed a man laying on the grass. Officer spoke to the man who stated he lives at the Kirk’s building and was just out looking at the stars.
10:19 PM – Officer responded to N. Prairie St. at FM 2790 for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
Nov. 10
12:09 AM – Traffic stop at Whataburger resulted in the arrest of a 27-year-old male subject and a 23-year-old male subject for Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 4g-200g. Both subjects were transported to Atascosa Co. Jail and the vehicle was impounded. It was later determined that the vehicle, a 2017 Toyota Tundra Pick-Up was stolen out of another jurisdiction.
5:01 AM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a welfare check on a 911 hang-up call. Officer spoke with the resident and she assured the officer that the phone number that the 911 came from did not belong to anyone in the residence.
9:45 AM – Officers responded to Hurley Funeral Home and provided funeral escort.
10:38 AM – Officers responded to Main St. at FM 2790 for a report of a two vehicle crash.
2:38 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station who wanted to make a report for identity theft in regards to complainant’s unemployment benefits that were filed under her name.
2:54 PM – Officer responded to Dollar Tree for a report of a reckless driver that pulled into the store.
7:46 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to their juvenile son not returning home from school. While on the phone with the complainant, the juvenile was located at a basketball game in Pleasanton.
8:15 PM – Officers responded to 600 Blk. of CR 6843 to unlock a vehicle.
8:44 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 132 NB for a welfare check on a 911 hang-up. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
Nov. 11
10:37 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Elementary School to assist Atascosa EMS with an 11 YO asthmatic boy that passed out running a mile on the track.
11:05 AM – Officer responded to Blume Dr. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
12:50 PM – Officer responded to Lytle ISD and provided traffic control for the Lytle ISD Veterans Day Parade.
1:50 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash to unlock a vehicle.
2:22 PM – Officer responded to Community National Bank for a report of loose goats. The owner was notified and secured the goats.
4:38 PM – Officer responded to Lytle High School to unlock a vehicle.
Nov. 12
5:28 AM – Officer responded to Community National Bank and met with complainant who wanted to report being involved in a traffic accident. Complainant reported he was struck by a deer crossing the highway. The approximate location of impact was at the Medina/Atascosa Co. lines of IH 35 NB.
8:46 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to talk complainant in reference to a criminal trespass warning. Upon arrival, the subject had already left the store.
9:45 AM – Officers responded to Camino Real Crisis Center Admin Office for a report of an Emergency Detention male that walked away from the center. The male was located walking in IH 35 Access Rd. Atascosa Co. Deputy arrived to transport the male to the hospital.
10:18 AM – Officer responded to 14300 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a two vehicle crash. Upon arrival, it was discovered the accident occurred outside the city limits in Bexar Co. The drivers were referred to Bexar Co. Sheriff’s Office.
10:35 AM – Officer responded to Camino Real Crisis Center Admin Office for a report of terroristic threats.
12:20 PM – Officers responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a waste management truck that backed into a guideline wire knocking out the power on Mesquite St. CPS was notified by the homeowner.
1:01 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a report of a natural death.
2:31 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a stolen motorized shopping cart. Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old male subject for Theft $750 – $2,500. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail and the shopping cart was recovered and returned to HEB Plus.
4:00 PM – Officers responded to Lytle Community Health Center for a report of a female patient refusing to leave the clinic. Upon arrival, the female had already departed.
Nov. 13
12:29 AM – Officer located a vehicle submerged in the canal at CR 6710. After further investigation, it was determined the vehicle was unoccupied. The scene was turned over to Medina Co. S.O. Trooper.
2:30 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 S Access Rd. for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
8:15 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to his 2016 Kenworth Truck Tractor and trailer that was stolen on 11/09/20. The truck was recovered in San Antonio but the trailer is still missing. The vehicle was left at the Pumphouse Carwash after the driver needing medical attention and the driver being transported to the hospital by EMS.
10:00 AM – Officer responded to Lytle State Bank and talked to complainant in reference to text threats. The complainant lived outside of city limits and was referred to Atascosa Co. S.O.
12:40 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 near Lytle State Bank for a report of a gas can in the middle of the roadway. Upon arrival, the gas can was unable to be located.
2:30 PM – Officer responded to the 15100 Blk. of Main St. for a report of two homeless men who were at the pub and were not wanted there. Both males were asked to leave the area and a criminal trespass notices was given.
4:21 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Mini Storage for a report of a stolen 2019 U-Haul Truck.
10:24 PM – Officer responded to Dos Primos Barbacoa for a report of two homeless men sleeping in the back of the building. Officer advised the row males to leave the scene per the owner’s request.
Nov. 14
1:48 AM – Officer responded to Pirate Express for a report of an alarm.
3:18 AM – Officer responded to Pirate Express for a report of an alarm.
4:00 AM – While conducting a foot patrol at the John Lott Park, officer found the restrooms unlocked. No signs of criminal activity noted.
6:25 AM – Officer responded to First St. for a report of a suspicious person knocking on the front door of a resident’s home. The individual departed prior to officer’s arrival.
7:05 AM – Officer responded to Law Office of Tom Cate for a report of an alarm.
11:09 AM – Officers responded to Pecan Grove Apartments for a report of a 911 hang up call stating there were suspicious people inside a residence that did not have permission to be there.
11:10 AM – Officers responded to 19300 Blk. of N. Prairie St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a male that cut off a portion of his finger. While en route, another call came in that required officer presence therefore the call was canceled. EMS arrived and transported the subject.
11:10 AM – Officer responded to Chevron and talked to complainant in reference to wanting the City to purchase him a new trailer after an employee ran him off the road into the canal on CR 6710. Complainant was referred to the Commissioner for Medina Co. that covers the said area as the CR 6710 is not within the city limits.
4:18 PM – Officers responded to Dollar Tree for a report of a shoplifter. A 25-year-old female subject was arrested for Theft < $100, Fraudulent Use or Possession of Credit Card Information 5-10 pieces, and Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information less than 5 pieces. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
4:30 PM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of Lake Crest Dr. for a report of a civil matter – civil stand by.
6:38 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
6:45 PM – Officers responded to 15300 Blk. of Laredo St. for a welfare check on complainant’s missing husband.
7:20 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to a civil matter – child custody.
8:10 PM – Officers responded to Hacienda Jalisciense for a report of a man causing a disturbance. Officers removed the intoxicated man from the establishment after he refused to wear a mask at the employee’s request. The man was returned to his wife in the parking lot.
8:36 PM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of Lake Crest Dr. and talked to complainant in regards to a restraining order against complainant’s wife.
10:49 PM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Tippen Rd. for a welfare check on a 911 hang up call. All was okay.
10:55 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 N at Blume Dr. and provided a man a courtesy ride to Best Western Plus.
Nov. 15
1:50 AM – Traffic stop at FM 3175 and IH 35 Access Rd. resulted in the arrest of a male subject for Driving While Intoxicated. While in custody, subject became unresponsive and Medina Co. EMS was dispatched. Subject was transported to Southwest General Hospital for evaluation and released from Police custody. Officer will be filing at large for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carrying.
5:52 AM – Officer responded to Pecan Grove Apartments for a report of a 14 YO female that left the residence without permission. The female was located and returned home.
3:30 PM – While on patrol at Grand Somerset Apartments officers observed a subject at the location that had an Active Lytle PD Warrant. A 30-year-old male subject was arrested on a Terroristic Threats – Family Violence. Subject also had a second warrant for Terroristic Threats – Family Violence out of Bexar Co. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
