Devine Police Report Oct. 30-Nov. 5

Oct. 30
4:00 AM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of Davis Ave. in reference to a general alarm going off across the street. Officers patrolled the area; unable to locate.
4:09 PM – Officers assisted DPS with a major accident on IH-35 NB.
4:09 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of Devine Dr. in reference to a maroon Dodge pickup truck driving up and down the road; unable to locate.
8:11 PM – Complainant reported screaming coming from an apartment in the 200 block of W. Moore Ave. Officers made contact with a female, who stated she was having an argument on the phone.
8:44 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of Devine Dr. in reference to the same maroon Dodge pickup driving up and down the road; unable to locate.
9:40 PM – Complainant in the 700 block of Devine Dr. reported a gray van reversing down the road near her property; unable to locate.
10:49 PM – A female subject struck two TxDot signs on IH-35 NB and left the location on foot. The subject was cited and released for DUI/minor.
11:47 PM – Officer assisted DPS with a major accident across both lanes of travel on IH-35 SB. Officer assisted with traffic control until roadway was clear.
Oct. 31
5:22 PM – Truck tractors on Oak Hill Dr.
7:48 PM – Officer assisted DPS with a major accident with entrapment on IH-35 SB.
9:46 PM – A male subject in the 100 block of IH-35 S was cited and released for theft less than $100.
11:25 PM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of Hermitage Loop in reference to a City Ordinance violation. Home owner turned off music for the night.
Nov. 1
8:26 PM – A male subject reportedly stole a cell phone. Charges pending.
3:40 PM – Officers assisted DPS with a three-vehicle accident on IH-35 NB.
3:59 PM – Officer dispatched to Judson in reference to two females racing four-wheelers on roadway; unable to locate.
6:29 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Lucas Ave. advised someone entered her vehicle between 11:00 PM and 6:30 PM. A set of keys were taken, and damage was done to the vehicle interior.
8:26 PM – A male subject assaulted his girlfriend in the 700 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. and broke her phone. Charges pending.
Nov. 2
3:40 AM – A vehicle was parked with its parking lights on in the 200 block of S. Teel Dr. A male subject was asleep in the vehicle. A friend came to pick him up.
7:01 AM – An unoccupied vehicle in the middle of the roadway in the 200 block of N. Bright Dr. was creating a traffic hazard. Owner advised it broke down the previous night and the dealership would be coming to get it.
1:20 PM – A red vehicle with a male driver was parking in a parking lot in the 600 block of W. Hondo Ave.
3:09 PM – A parent was upset about a student pickup from Head Start.
Nov. 3
9:58 AM – Complainant reported that water was being taken in the 200 block of College Ave.
9:03 PM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to shots fired in the area; unable to locate.
Nov. 4
10:02 AM – Complainant lost a set of keys with a black handle and a key ring.
8:28 PM – Officer dispatched to Fay Ave. in reference to shots fired in the area; unable to locate.
9:07 PM – Officer assisted DPS with a one-vehicle rollover on CR 774.
9:35 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Dixon Dr. in reference to loud music playing; unable to locate.
10:29 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. reported a physical disturbance between herself and a female neighbor.
Nov. 5
12:00 AM – An adult female in the 500 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. was transported to University Hospital for an emergency detention.
4:00 AM – Officer assisted Frio County and Zavala County with a pursuit on IH-35 NB. Officer blocked Exit
122 and returned to service.
2:30 PM – Officer provided escort to IH-35 for volleyball team.
2:58 PM – Complainant on Briscoe stated there was a white truck playing loud music, and that she didn’t care for the choice of music or the loud bass. Officer made location; unable to locate.
3:12 PM – Report of a car seat in the middle of the roadway on IH-35 NB. Officer made location; unable to locate car seat.
8:38 PM – A male subject in the 100 block of IH-35 S. was cited and released for theft less than $100.
10:45 PM – Officer provided escort to Devine High School for volleyball team.
