Devine Police Report Nov. 6-12

Nov. 6
9:42 AM – Tattoo machine valued at $100 and miscellaneous antiques stolen from a storage unit in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. Possible male that may have broken into storage unit. Contact was made with owner and footage will be available.
5:09 PM – Complainant reported a female walking northbound on the southbound side of IH-35. Officers checked area; unable to locate.
5:31 PM – Complainant reported theft of light bulbs and knife in the 100 block of IH-35 S. Subject located at residence in the 500 block of Aubrey in Natalia. Municipal citation issued to male subject for theft under $100.
6:20 PM – Complainant reported a male subject walking and yelling in the area of Galbreath. Unable to locate.
7:01 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Galbreath in reference to a male causing a disturbance then running off; unable to locate.
Nov. 7
4:19 AM – Vehicle struck a deer in the 800 block of N. Teel Dr., causing minor damage to the passenger side front quarter panel.
6:10 AM – Dead deer on roadway in the 400 block of S. Teel Dr. Officer removed the deceased deer off the road.
4:05 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 NB City limits in reference to a pursuit coming from Frio County. Pursuit terminated before county line.
5:10 PM – Complainant reported a large amount of plywood fell out of trailer on IH-35. Officer provided traffic control while wood was picked up.
9:10 PM – Officers dispatched to Adams Ave. in reference to loud music in the area; unable to locate.
11:07 PM – Officers dispatched to N. Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to yelling in the area. Officers patrolled the area; everything appeared okay.
11:30 PM – Vehicle vs deer in the 600 block of S. Teel Dr.
Nov. 8
8:20 AM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a deceased deer on the road. The deer was moved off the road.
2:48 PM – Verbal disturbance in the 300 block of W. Moore Ave. between a husband and wife going through divorce. Parties separated; all was okay.
4:20 PM – Officer dispatched to FM 463 in reference to an active burglary of a habitation; all was okay.
Nov. 9
6:09 PM – Complainant on Tilley Dr. advised cash was taken from his wallet.
Nov. 11
3:16 AM – Officer assisted Castroville and Medina County deputy in the 5000 block of FM 1343 with a stolen vehicle that was refusing to stop. Subject bailed out.
5:50 AM – Officer assisted DPS with a hit and run fatality in the 500 block of Hwy. 132.
8:23 AM – Theft of a trailer in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy.
12:20 PM – Officer dispatched to Devine Municipal Airport in reference to a trailer blocking roadway. Trailer located on private property.
1:30 PM – Black Dodge Challenger driving fast on Breeze Dr.; unable to locate.
1:45 PM – Female subject stopped officer on Jay Dr. concerned about SUV parked on Dove Ave. A male subject was at a friend’s home; all was okay.
4:45 PM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 SB in reference to two wide loads running vehicles off roadway; unable to locate.
6:10 PM – Complainant reported a male Hispanic on a bike in the 700 block of Roseville appeared suspicious; unable to locate.
Nov. 12
8:54 AM – Officer found a Daisy BB gun on Jay Dr.
2:46 PM – Traffic lights malfunctioning on W. Hondo Ave. No answer at TxDot office; voicemail left.
7:24 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of Devine Dr. in reference to a female yelling for help. Officers made contact with female, who advised she fell down and hurt her knee. Refused EMS, husband was taking her to ER; all was okay.
8:03 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of S. Teel Dr. advised of a male and female he wanted removed from premises.
