Lytle Police Report Nov. 23-29

Nov. 23
1:38 AM – While conducting a business check at Nutrition on Main officer discovered an unlocked back door. No signs of criminal activity found. Officer was able to lock the door on his way out.
3:34 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 133-134 for a report of a driver hitting the cable barrier and the colliding with a tree. Officer searched the area, unable to locate. Bexar Co. S.O. stated they had received the exact same call the prior week and were also unable to locate.
5:29 AM – Officers responded to 18700 Blk. of FM 2790 N for a report of a resident’s power out and a stranger on complainant’s property. Officers located the subject and attempted to identify and detain him. The male refused to cooperate and tried to walk away. The 28-year-old male subject resisted arrest requiring 3 officers to subdue him. The subject was wanted out of Medina Co. S.O. for Child Endangerment. A vehicle on the complainant’s property had also been broken into. The subject was arrested for Resisting Arrest, Burglary of a Vehicle and the warrant out of Medina Co. He was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
2:50 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a male shoplifter. The subject fled in a blue station wagon. All items were recovered except for a neck gaiter.
3:07 PM – Officers responded to 18000 Blk. of Ball Rd. for a report of an assault. Officers were unable to locate the complainant of suspect. Officers made contact with the complainant via public service and advised him to return if he wanted to pursue a criminal case. The complainant never returned.
5:43 PM – Officers responded to 15600 Blk. of Hwy. 132 for a report of a physical disturbance. Officers made contact with both male subjects and they did not want to cooperate with the investigation. A 24-year-old male subject and a 36-year-old male subject were cited for Disorderly Conduct and released.
9:49 PM – Officer responded to Chevron for a report of a two vehicle crash. One of the vehicle’s left the scene prior to officer’s arrival. Tuesday
Nov. 24
8:05 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a broken air/water machine missing a padlock. Complainant stated she noticed the missing padlock 3 days ago.
11:26 AM – Officers responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
10:33 PM – Officers responded to 19500 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of a verbal disturbance. The parties were separated for the night.
Nov. 25
8:19 AM – Officers responded to Big Tex Trailer for a report of a business that had its front gate rammed through. Three trailers were stolen from the property. The theft occurred between 11/24/20 and 11/25/20.
9:39 AM – Officers responded to 14900 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a male subject assaulting an Atascosa Co. Deputy Constable. Officers arrived and found the Deputy Constable had the suspect under arrested for an outstanding warrant.
9:57 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 131 for a report of an 18 wheeler with no lights. Officers were unable to locate.
3:08 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a two vehicle crash. Officer was unable to locate the other vehicle in question.
3:45 PM – Officers responded to Bill Miller BBQ and provided traffic control for their Thanksgiving rush and scheduled orders.
5:19 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of narcotics being found. Officer took possession of the narcotics and placed them into the evidence room.
6:30 PM – Officers responded to Dollar General for a report of a vehicle crash with a possible intoxicated driver. A 48-year-old male subject was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carry. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
Nov. 26
8:51 AM – Officers responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a disturbance between a husband and wife. Officers arrived and spoke with the wife who stated it was all verbal.
3:10 PM – Officer responded to Country View Apartments to assist Atascosa EMS with 56 YO female taking too much of her medication.
Nov. 27
10:40 AM – Officer responded to Pecan Grove Apartments for a report of a couple fighting. Officer made contact with the resident who stated they were fighting over the phone over a personal matter.
10:47 AM – Officer conducted a follow-up investigation in regards to a stolen U-Haul that was stolen on 11/19/20. The truck was recovered in San Antonio.
10:55 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. and noticed an unauthorized burn. The female resident was asked to put the fire out.
12:30 PM – Officer responded to Lytle True Value for a report of suspicious activity. Management advised that a female attempted to exchange a drill bit with a fake receipt. The female left the location when the cashier notified management.
4:50 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to a vehicle crash that occurred on 11/27/20. Complainant stated the other driver left the scene without exchanging information.
7:16 PM – Officer responded to San Jose St. at Hidalgo St. for a report of a reckless driver on a motorcycle. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
8:28 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
9:12 PM – Officer responded to 900 Blk. of FM 3175 to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy on a call.
Nov. 28
3:20 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
2:05 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 N exit ramp at FM 3175 for a report of a Ryder 52’ box van that was dropped in the roadway creating a traffic hazard. A Ryder tractor arrived to move the trailer.
2:10 PM – Officer responded to Texas Western Warehouse and talked to officer in reference to a broken down vehicle that was in their parking lot and the owner wanted the vehicle removed. The vehicle was moved upon officer’s arrival.
10:51 PM – Officers responded to 18800 Blk. of Live Oak St. for a report of a possible coyote that attacked a goat. Officer drove down Pine St. and was unable to locate the animal.
Nov. 29
9:53 AM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
10:28 AM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a theft of a Mercedes Benz emblem. Officer arrived and discovered the damage caused to the grille in removing the emblem.
1:57 PM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of S. Benton St. for a welfare check on a 911 hang-up call. Officer made contact with the resident who stated all was okay. The resident stated they were having phone issues with the landline.
7:05 PM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of IH 35 N for a report of a suspicious truck that drove into and out of the new construction site. The male stated he is a welder and was going to perform some work for the construction company but it was too wet for him to get back to the equipment.
10:33 PM – Officers responded to Bad Vibz Studio for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
