Devine Police Report Nov. 20-25

Nov. 20
8:11 AM – Officers provided traffic control for Public Works on N. Windy Knoll Dr.
6:55 PM – A male driver in the 500 block of E. Hondo Ave. was cited for driving without a license.
7:11 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of Devine Dr. in reference to loud music coming from a truck. Individual was asked to lower the volume, which he did.
Nov. 21
9:12 AM – A card holder containing a Texas driver’s license and credit cards was found near Hwy. 173 and CR 7718. Items were returned to the owner.
10:43 AM – A female subject in the 200 block of W. Moore Ave. found an electronic device that did not belong to her.
6:00 PM – A male subject in the 600 block of King Ave. was assaulted by his wife on Nov. 19. A summons will be issued.
6:30 PM – Officer assisted DPS with traffic control for an 18-wheeler fire on IH-35 NB.
6:48 PM – A male driver in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. was cited for driving without a license.
10:08 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of W. Moore Ave. reported her husband was on location and advised he wasn’t supposed to be there. Husband departed location; everything was okay.
10:28 PM – Officer located loud music in the 500 block of Monticello. Homeowner advised he would turn it down.
Nov. 22
3:24 PM – A male subject at Walmart was cited for theft less than $100.
5:55 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of Crouch Ave. reported the burglary of a vehicle.
7:56 PM – Complainant reported a dark-colored van unable to maintain lanes on IH-35 NB; unable to locate.
7:57 PM – Complainant in the 900 block of N. Transportation Dr. reported a vehicle seen near a gate. The vehicle had already left, but the complainant wanted the area patrolled. No vehicle description given; all was okay.
8:15 PM – Complainant reported a green van all over the roadway passing mile marker 115 on IH-35 NB; unable to locate.
Nov. 23
9:39 AM – Disturbance between a male and a female in the 600 block of King Ave.
2:55 PM – Complainant advised he saw smoke coming from behind a home across from Ciavarra Elementary. Officer patrolled the area and was unable to locate any smoke.
3:05 PM – Officer found a debit card in the parking lot in the 100 block of Bentson Dr.
4:40 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of N. Upson Dr. advised she heard a shot fire coming from the restroom by the Little League office. Officer made location and was unable to locate any activity.
Nov. 24
10:20 AM – Disagreement between mother and daughter in the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave.
4:40 PM – Report of a black auger unit taken from the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. some time on Nov. 23. Valued at $5,000.
7:00 PM – Officer dispatched to the 700 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to an unidentified male standing in front of yard. Male subject was neighbor using cell phone.
Nov. 25
1:40 PM – Officer assisted with traffic control due to an accident on IH-35 SB.
3:10 PM – DPS trooper advised of a possible accident at IH-35 and Hwy. 173. Officer patrolled the area and was unable to locate. MCSO dispatch advised both parties exchanged information and kept traveling.
5:40 PM – Officer assisted MCSO deputy with a traffic stop on IH-35 NB.
5:55 PM – Complainant advised a neighbor heard glass breakage around the area. Officer made location and located the source of the glass breakage. It appeared someone dropped a glass shelf in the roadway. Building appeared secured.
6:09 PM – A female subject at Walmart and cited and released for theft less than $100.
