Nov. 2
6:25 AM – While patrolling at the Mc Self Storage officer discovered an open storage unit. The door was able to be closed and appeared to be off the track.
11:15 AM – Officer responded to 400 Blk. of Las Palomas Dr. to assist an Atascosa Co. Deputy to recover a stolen vehicle.
11:47 AM – Officers responded to 20000 Blk. of IH 35 NB Access Rd. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
12:55 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
1:50 PM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. to unlock a vehicle.
7:05 PM – Officers responded to 14700 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
7:20 PM – Officers were contacted by Bexar Co. S.O. in reference to a welfare check on a male individual working at Sonic Drive-In.
11:44 PM – While on patrol at 14900 Blk. of Railroad St. officer located two areas where illegal dumping occurred. Lytle Public Works was notified.
Nov. 3
8:30 AM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of main St. for a report of a broken window.
9:15 AM – Officers responded to IH 35 N to assist Bexar Co. with traffic control for a trailer fire on IH 35 southbound at Kinney Rd. The fire was observed while traveling to San Antonio.
11:12 AM – A Bexar Co. resident stopped by and talked to officer in reference to a stolen gun. The complainant was unable to say where the theft occurred. The complainant was referred to Bexar Co. S.O.
12:24 PM – Officers responded to 18400 Blk. of FM 2790 for a report of two sisters arguing over their father’s debit card.
2:30 PM – Officer responded to Trophy Buck and conducted a follow-up investigation.
6:33 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB to assist Medina Co. with traffic control for an 18 wheeler inspection. The driver allegedly was using stolen credit cards to purchase fuel in Devine and La Salle Co.
7:05 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at Priest Blvd. to assist a disabled motorist blocking traffic. Officer assisted by pushing the vehicle off the roadway.
10:38 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 SB on Ramp for a report of a truck tractor semi-trailer stuck near the on ramp/concrete embankment. The truck was pulled out by a towing company.
Nov. 4
8:05 AM – Officer responded to Machine Auctioneers for a report of five natural gas tankers that were parked at the property without permission. The drivers were asked to move their vehicles.
12:44 PM – Officers responded to 15900 Blk. of Lake Side for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
1:13 PM – Officers conducted a follow-up investigation on a debit/credit card abuse case.
2:10 PM – Officers responded to Lytle High School to assist Atascosa Co. EMS with a 17 YO female.
3:10 PM – Officer conducted a follow-up investigation on a theft case.
8:30 PM – Officers responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a male subject unable to breathe while operating his vehicle. Dispatch advised the subject was unable to stop his vehicle. Officers were canceled, dispatch advised the subject had entered Bexar Co.
9:45 PM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a suspicious female near the intersection of Wisdom Rd. and Lake St. Officer located the female who advised the officer she was waiting for a ride.
Nov. 5
4:50 AM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of N. Benton St. for a report of a vehicle fire, it was a total loss.
4:10 AM – Officers responded to IH 35 NB to assist Medina Co. with a pursuit that came through the city and went into Bexar Co. The vehicles got through before officers could get involved.
10:58 AM – Officers responded to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and provided funeral escort to the Lytle Community Cemetery.
2:36 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
5:42 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
6:50 PM – Officer responded to 6300 Blk. of Main St. and talked to resident in reference to the gas outage. Officer explained the situation.
7:16 PM – Traffic stop at the 15000 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of passenger a 23-year-old male passenger for having two Active Warrants one for Theft of Service $100 – $750 out of Atascosa Co. and the other for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 1g-4g out of Bexar Co. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was cited for several traffic violations.
9:15 PM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a welfare check.
Nov. 6
12:35 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to an assault that occurred about a month ago. The complainant stated she would come to the Police Station the following day to make a statement.
3:06 AM – Officer responded to Pachangon Auto Sales and discovered an unlocked back door. No signs of criminal activity found. Officer was able to lock the door.
9:50 AM – Officer responded to Hurley Funeral Home and provided funeral escort to the Lytle Community Cemetery.
5:08 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 SB at Mile Marker 131 for a report of a two vehicle crash.
10:42 PM – Traffic stop at Main St. and Bank St. resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old male subject for Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 >4g=< 200g, Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 4g< 200g and Failure to Identify – Fugitive from Justice. All were transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
Nov. 7
3:10 AM – Officer responded to Little Caesars for a report of an alarm.
9:16 AM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Hester St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
10:45 AM – Officer responded to Hurley Funeral Home and attempted to help with the funeral escort.
11:29 AM – Officer responded to Texas Western Warehouse for a welfare check on two males walking along the frontage road. Officer made contact and all was okay.
3:15 PM – Officers responded to 15800 Blk. of White Cap Dr. for a report of an assault between a father and son. Officers were en route when the son was located leaving the residence. The male subject was detained until a further investigation found no crime had been committed and the argument was only verbal. Officers issued a Criminal Trespass Warning to subject and released.
6:00 PM – Officers responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a male subject who was bitten by a dog in the face. Officers arrived and Atascosa EMS and Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. were assessing the male’s injury. Officers made contact with the dog owner and advised the dog would have to be sheltered by the Lytle Animal Control pending investigation. Officers confirmed the dog was taken by an Animal Control Officer.
7:34 PM – Officers responded to Taco Bell and talk to the manager about found property.
9:50 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Adam St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked outside the business. Officer arrived, all appeared okay.
Nov. 8
12:26 AM – While patrolling at Trophy Buck, officer located a suspicious unoccupied pick-up truck parked behind the building. Officer checked the area for the driver but was unable to locate.
1:40 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of an unruly customer causing a disturbance because a mistake was made with his drive-thru order. The suspect truck departed prior to officer’s arrival.
12:15 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB to assist Medina Co. with locating a white Ford F150. Officer was later advised the truck had been located by Medina Co.
1:01 PM – Officer responded to 50 E. Bob White to assist Atascosa Co. with a report of a possible burglary in action. One male was detained at the scene.
1:01 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at McConnel Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with a report of shots fired in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
5:01 PM – Officer responded to Bealls for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
8:20 PM – Officers responded to Metro PCS for a report of a suspicious person.
10:25 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a shoplifter. A 55-year-old male subject was cited for Theft < $100 after allegedly stealing two 24 packs of Bud Light Beer valued at $40. Subject was cited and released.
