Devine Police Report Oct. 22-29

Oct. 22
12:39 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Mockingbird Ln. reported the theft of his camper trailer valued at $11,500.
Oct. 23
2:15 PM – Complainant in the 800 block of King Ave. was yelling on the line saying stop. Dispatched units unknown situation; caller hung up.
3:29 PM – An adult female in the 800 block of King was taken to University Hospital for an emergency detention.
7:34 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of Hayden Ave. in reference to a disturbance with foster children. Subject departed location before officers arrived and was later found and returned to foster home.
Oct. 24
4:44 AM – Complainant from the 100 block of Tehama advised officer, while at the Shell station, of loud music near his house all night. Officer patrolled the area.
7:03 PM – Subject turned in a bracelet found at the city park on Oct. 23
8:25 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of IH-35 S. reported a vehicle driving around the store; unable to locate.
10:13 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N. in reference to a black sedan in the parking lot; made location, no vehicles in the parking lot.
11:04 PM – Officer assisted he Medina County Sheriff’s Office with children on CR 5710.
Oct. 25
12:08 AM – Complainant reported loud music on King Ave. Owner advised they would lower the music.
3:49 PM – Caller found phone on the road by Food King and was able to call relative of phone owner and advised phone was at Devine PD. Owner of phone picked it up at 4:06 PM and a property receipt was provided.
Oct. 26
6:06 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of E. Hondo Ave. reported an unknown person knocking on windows and trying to open the door.
3:30 PM – Female hit guard rail on IH-35 NB. Everything was okay with the driver, who requested a wrecker to pick up truck.
4:37 PM – Complainant reported a semi-truck blocking ramp on IH-35 SB.
Oct. 27
12:58 PM – A driver was cited and released for driving without a license in the 1200 block of W. Hondo Ave.
5:01 AM – Complainant reported a vehicle that appeared unoccupied blocking entrance to location in the 100 block of IH-35. The operator was waiting on a family member to jump start the vehicle. Plenty of room for vehicles to get around car.
8:35 PM – Vehicle hit a stop sign on the NB Ih-35 access road. TxDot notified and Public Works helped with a temporary sign.
3:01 PM – Construction workers on Colonial Pkwy. stated passersby were driving at a high rate of speed.
4:15 PM – Verbal disturbance between husband and wife in the 600 block of Brown Ave.
5:32 PM – Officer dispatched to location in the 100 block of IH-35 S. in reference to an unknown male stealing a speaker valued at $49.97.
Oct. 28
2:12 AM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Hwy. 132 in reference to a caller who heard odd noises outside her apartment; all was okay.
12:35 PM – Blue semi carrying gravel that is all over the roadway on IH-35 SB; unable to locate.
12:38 PM – Complainant reported the loss of a driver’s license, credit card, and cash.
2:05 PM – Verbal disturbance between couple in the 1000 block of Malone Dr. Officers made location and were advised that parties had separated.
5:32 PM – Officer placed a tag on an abandoned gray Chevy pickup in the 1000 block of Malone Dr.
6:07 PM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 NB in reference to a white Ford Fusion with a couple that may be in a verbal disturbance; unable to locate.
10:32 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. reported a white car that pulled into her driveway attempting to deliver pizza that was not ordered; all was okay.
11:08 PM – Complainant reported a male subject in the 1000 block of Malone Dr. starting a disturbance and now attempting to cut himself.
Oct. 29
12:00 AM – An adult male subject in the 1000 block of Malone Dr. was transported by police to Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital for an emergency detention.
1:28 PM – A female subject in the 400 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. was cited and released for driving without a license.
1:29 PM – A vehicle was parked at a car wash in the 100 block of W. Hondo Ave. Officer called Atascosa to sent unit to residence and make contact with owner.
3:02 PM – Officer assisted the MCSO in the 19000 block of FM 471 with a vehicle pursuit.
6:52 PM – Complainant reported a tire in the roadway on Oak Hill Dr. The tire was removed.
9:10 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. in reference to a male subject walking in the area. Everything was okay, it was a nearby homeowner.
9:39 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N. in reference to a pickup running in the parking lot for over 15 minutes. Officers made location; everything was okay and subject departed the area.
11:20 PM – Officers observed a black Cadillac in parking lot in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. Owner advised she had a flat and no spare tire and would be back in the morning.
