July 17
2:20 AM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a male and female arguing. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
1:30 PM – Officer responded to South Texas Renal to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
3:30 PM – Complainant called the Police Station to file a report of lost property. Complainant stated she lost her checkbook at the Paws of Summer event over the weekend. Officer called the director of Animal Control but no checkbook had been found or turned in.
5:57 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a vehicle being keyed on the passenger side.
8:11 PM – Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of FM 2790 S to talk to an officer in reference to a civil matter – child custody.
July 18
7:47 AM – Complainant called the Police Station to talk to an officer in reference to his sister’s case.
8:50 AM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of a natural death of a 94-year-old female subject.
10:05 AM – Officer responded to Lytle State Bank for a report of a suspicious person in the parking lot. Officer made contact with a female who was stranded. Officer provided a courtesy ride to Taco Bell.
10:37 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a man attempting to pass a counterfeit $20 bill.
10:50 AM – Officers provided funeral escort from the Lytle High School to the Lytle Community Cemetery.
11:57 AM – Officer responded to 18700 Blk. of N. Benton St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
2:08 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 near Pinn Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with rounding up a stray horse.
July 19
2:28 AM – Officer responded to Morales Feed for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the store. Upon arrival, officer located a Ford Van running with its lights on and appeared to be unoccupied. Further inspection revealed a male subject sleeping in the front seat. No criminal activity noted.
8:55 AM – Officers responded to IH 35 S at FM 2790 E for a report of a welfare check on a male sleeping in the ditch. The male stated he was dropped off by a police officer earlier.
9:25 AM – Officer responded to Lytle State Bank for a report of 3 forged checks totaling $2,500.
2:10 PM – Officer responded to 18500 Blk. of FM 2790 for an alarm. Officer found residence to be secure.
6:22 PM – Officers responded to Thomas P. Cate Law Office for an alarm. Officers found the building to be secure.
July 20
4:40 AM – Officer responded to Certified Truck & Auto Repair for an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
8:28 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer contacted the driver who stated she was picking up her daughter from her friend’s house.
8:51 AM – Officer responded to O’Reilly Auto to speak with complainant in reference to found property.
11:42 AM – Traffic stop at FM 2790 N at CR 6710 resulted in the impound of a vehicle after it was discovered the vehicle was displaying fictitious registration decal, expired registration, no insurance and the vehicle was not registered to the current owner.
12:20 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report a theft that had occurred about a month ago. Case under investigation.
4:24 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at McDonald St. for a talk to an officer in reference to an accident that occurred earlier in the day.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Bruce St. for a burglary of habitation. Complainant reported a former roommate climbed in through the kitchen window and stole a bowling ball out the bedroom. Window was unsecured due to a faulty lock.
10:30 PM – Officer responded to Sonic Drive-In to assist Atascosa EMS with an adult male having a severe allergic reaction.
July 21
12:07 AM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of S. Somerset St. for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed both rear tired of a vehicle.
8:55 AM – Officer responded to 1800 Blk. of CR 6710 for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed 5 tires on 3 vehicles parked in the driveway. All vehicle had also been egged and butter smeared on them.
9:45 AM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of a criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed the left rear tire of a vehicle.
10:37 AM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of complainant’s neighbor throwing a dead cat against the complainant’s house.
12:15 PM – Officer responded to 18700 Blk. of Live Oak St. for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed the passenger side tires of a vehicle.
2:40 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
3:00 PM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Cottage St. for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed the driver’s side rear tire of a vehicle.
3:30 PM – Officer responded to Live Oak St. for a report of several vehicles driving recklessly in the afternoon. Extra patrol requested.
4:30 PM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Houston St. for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed both driver’s side tires.
8:06 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
10:30 PM – Traffic stop at Main St. and S. Prairie St. resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old male subject for having an Active Warrant for Possession of Marijuana < 2oz. out of Atascosa Co. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
11:30 PM – Officer responded to Beall’s P-Lot for a report of a tractor trailer that made a short turn and struck a parked truck causing minor damage to both vehicles.
July 22
12:32 AM – Officers responded to 19700 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of a disturbance. Officer spoke to both parties and determined it was all verbal. The male left the residence voluntarily and stayed at his sister’s residence for the night.
10:30 AM – Officers responded to 19600 Blk. of Martin St. for a report of a suspicious person. It was determined the female was a solicitor with a permit.
10:40 AM – Officers responded to 15400 Blk. of Houston St. for a talk to an officer in reference to threats via social media and leaving messages on the phone.
12:00 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of an individual trespassing. Subject was given a verbal trespass notice.
1:05 PM – Officers responded to 19700 Blk. of Bruce St. for a talk to an officer in reference to complainant dropping off a copy of a criminal trespass notice.
1:12 PM – Officers responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a civil matter.
1:59 PM – Officers responded to 888 Barber Shop for a report of a suicidal juvenile. The juvenile was detained and later transported to Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital for an evaluation.
2:30 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Hester St. for a talk to an officer in reference to an animal bite report. Incident occurred in Poteet, complainant was referred to Atascosa Co. due to jurisdiction.
8:57 PM – Officer responded to Days Inn for a report of a disturbance. Officer was unable to hear any disturbance in the area.
July 23
3:15 AM – Officer responded to Bruce St. for a report of a male subject walking along the street. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
6:10 AM – Officer responded to Taco Bell for a report of an alarm. Upon arrival, it was learned that an employee did not enter the alarm code causing the activation.
8:25 AM – Officer responded to Star Food Mart for a report of criminal mischief. Officer spoke with complainant who reported her driver side rear tire was slashed while parked at a friend’s house last night. Incident occurred at 63300 Blk. of Hidalgo St.
10:03 AM – Officers responded to Dollar General to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with a disconnected telephone cable.
11:45 AM – Officer responded to the 300 Blk. of FM 3175 to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a verbal disturbance.
1:01 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of D’Hanis St. for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed the rear tire of a vehicle.
1:04 PM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
1:38 PM – Officer responded to 63300 Blk. of San Juan St. for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed the front passenger side tire of a vehicle.
2:15 PM – Complainant talked to officer and requested a civil standby on Griffin Rd. Complainant was referred to Bexar Co. due to jurisdiction.
7:11 PM – Officers responded to 18800 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for an alarm. Residence was found to be secure.
7:40 PM – Officers responded to 19200 Blk. of Easy St. for a report of glass breaking behind an abandoned residence. Officers were unable to locate.
