Lytle Police Report Feb. 4-10

Feb. 4
9:00 AM – Officers responded to Taco Bell for a report of two counterfeit $20 bills.
9:33 AM – Officers responded to 16800 Blk. of W FM 2790 S for a report of a cow in the middle of the road. Officers located the cow and were able to herd the cow back to its property.
10:20 AM – Officers responded to 19200 Blk. of First St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient. Subject was transported to Southwest General Hospital for further medical evaluation.
11:54 AM – Officers responded to Lytle High School to unlock a vehicle.
1:00 PM – Officers responded to Camino Real Crisis Center for a report of a verbally aggressive male patient. An emergency detention order was issued and officers transported the male subject to San Antonio Behavioral Healthcare Hospital for further aid and medical evaluation.
7:28 PM – Officers responded to Blume Dr. for a report of two suspicious vehicles parked in front of a resident’s home. Officers patrolled the area, unable to locate any suspicious vehicles.
8:00 PM – Officer responded to US Renal Care for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
9:11 PM – Officer observed a suspicious vehicle drive into the parking lot of the Lytle Animal Control Facility. Officer initiated a field contact and it turned out to be a city employee. All was okay.
9:35 PM – Officer responded to Laredo St. at N Prairie St. for a welfare check on a male individual walking. All was okay.
10:55 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. to assist Bexar Co. with an assault. The incident occurred in Bexar Co. and BSCO Deputy took a report from the victim.
Feb. 5
10:45 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and reported that on January 8, 2019 while parked on Bank St. in Lytle his 2004 Dodge Ram was damaged.
11:25 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Mini Storage to unlock a vehicle.
11:32 AM – Officer responded to Community National Bank for a report of 4 panic alarms. Turned out to be a false activation during battery replacements.
12:53 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Magnolia St. and spoke with complainant who stated she was checking her mail when she began to have a reaction on her hand for some unknown reason.
3:00 PM – Officer responded to El Bufalo Pawn to unlock a vehicle.
4:48 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in regards to a hit & run. Officer took report over the phone due to complainant not being in the area.
5:40 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General for a report of suspicious activity that had occurred at 11:54 AM but not reported by the manager at the time.
Feb. 6
9:30 AM – Officers provided escort thru IH 35 for a Trail-ride that was coming through the city.
11:43 AM – Officers responded to Whataburger P-Lot for a report of a suspicious vehicle that was left in the parking lot on a jack stand, having damages as it was involved in an accident. Officers search for the owner of vehicle, unable to locate anyone.
4:00 PM – Officers provided escort thru IH 35 for a Trail-ride that was coming through the city.
5:04 PM – Officers responded to Twin Liquors P-Lot to unlock a vehicle.
5:17 PM – Officers responded 700 Blk. of CR 6713 for a welfare check on an elderly person.
Feb. 7
8:10 AM – Officers responded to 17900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
8:20 AM – Officers responded to HEB Plus P-Lot for a report of a suspicious commercial vehicle that had been parked for two days. Officer located the vehicle but could not locate the driver.
8:45 AM – Officers responded to 17900 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the road. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
11:23 AM – Officers responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
1:58 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
2:50 PM – Officers responded to McDonald’s to assist a stranded motorist in the drive-thru lane. Management called a towing company to remove the vehicle.
6:02 PM – Offices responded to Morals Feed & Seed for a report of three unidentified individuals who were wondering the store as if they were going to steal. When management began calling authorities, the individuals took off on foot. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
6:10 PM – While on patrol, officers made contact with a homeless female by the Twin Liquor. The female had shopping cart from Dollar General and officers advised her to return the shopping cart.
6:33 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus P-Lot to unlock a vehicle.
Feb. 8
8:30 AM – Officers responded to 400 Meadow View Dr. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
8:40 AM – Officers responded to Coalmine for a report of a train that had stopped and was blocking the exit of coalmine. Officers arrived and made contact with the conductor who stated he was checking for mechanical issues and the train would be moving shortly.
11:00 AM – Officers responded to 200 Blk. of Meadow View to assist Atascosa Co. with a disturbance.
11:50 AM – While on patrol at FM 3175 at IH 35 N Frontage Rd. officers noticed a guard rail damaged. Lytle Public Works and TXDOT were notified.
12:14 PM – Officers responded to US Post Office for a report of a two vehicle crash.
4:40 PM – Complainants stopped by the police station and talked to officers in reference to their daughter being bullied/harassed by a classmate.
5:40 PM – Complainant talked to officers in reference to suspicious activity on her credit card.
7:30 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a two vehicle crash.
8:55 PM – Officers responded to 15100 Blk. of Magnolia St. for a report of a theft of a firearm.
Feb. 9
12:15 AM – Officers responded to John Lott Park to assist Medina Co. with a reported runaway juvenile whose location was thought to be in the park parking lot. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
9:30 AM – Officers arrived at the old Jr. High Gym on Cottage St. and made an appearance at a basketball event.
6:50 PM – Complainant was at Bealls P-Lot and forgot her purse while she was taking an Uber. Officers met up with complainant to give her back her belongings.
9:40 PM – Officers responded to 300 Blk. of CR 6842 for a report of loud music. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
Feb. 10
1:10 AM – Officers responded to 19800 Blk. of IH 35 N for a report of a male subject who was dropped off at location by an ambulance. Officers made contact with individual who stated he was just released from the hospital and needed a place to stay. Subject did not have any money for his stay. Officer arranged for subject to stay for a couple of days until he can pay for the rooms himself.
10:05 AM – Officer responded to Dollar General to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
12:11 PM – Officer responded to US Renal Care for a report of an alarm.
2:37 PM – Officers responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of an unknown person who rummaged through complainant’s vehicle while parked in front of his residence. Nothing was missing.
