Lytle Police Report Aug. 19-25

Aug. 19
3:06 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of a suspicious female that had been in the restroom for a long period of time. The manager had asked to leave but did not comply. Officer made contact with the female and was escorted off the property.
8:20 AM – Officer took fingerprints for employment purposes.
9:00 AM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of S. Prairie St. for and talked to complainant in reference to her missing daughter. She was last seen on August 14, 2019. She was later located.
11:05 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Community Health Center for a report of an unruly patient in the lobby. No offense occurred.
11:53 AM – Officers responded to Pirates Express for a welfare check on a female screaming she needed EMS. Officers reached the area, unable to locate.
2:55 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the vehicle had left the scene.
5:55 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at IH 35 S Access Rd for a report of a reckless driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
8:16 PM – Officer responded to Texas Western Warehouse for a report of an alarm. Officers found the building to be secure.
10:47 PM – Officer responded to Taco Bell and talked to complainant in reference to receiving phone calls possibly from out of the country and asking payment via Western Union for merchandise. No money was sent and corporate office requested a report to be filed.
Aug. 20
9:17 AM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of Somerset St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
10:10 AM – Officer responded to N. Prairie St. at Laredo St. for a report of a reckless driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
11:23 AM – Officer responded to 63300 Blk. of Hidalgo St. for a report of an activated personal alarm. The alarm was accidentally activated.
1:10 PM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Martin St. for a report of an alarm. Officer arrived and spoke with the homeowner who stated he had accidentally activated the alarm.
5:45 PM – Officer responded to Bexar/Atascosa Co. Line (Hwy. 132) for a report of an abandoned backpack on the highway. The backpack was in Bexar Co. area and contained miscellaneous paperwork and cables.
8:22 PM – Officers responded to Atascosa Health Center to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient that could possibly become violent when EMS arrived for emergency detention. Upon arrival, the patient was already loaded without incident.
8:36 PM – Officers responded to Lytle Apartments for a report of a verbal dispute between tenants. Both parties agreed to avoid each other.
11:15 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a hit & run. The driver of the suspect vehicle was located and identified. The victim did not want to file charges and the suspect was issued a citation and released.
Aug. 21
7:55 AM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of Sunset Dr. for a report of Criminal Mischief to a vehicle. The door handle molding was damaged.
2:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
Aug. 22
2:25 AM – Officer responded to 2100 Blk. of Luckey Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. in looking for a suspicious male walking on FM 2790 heading into town. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
7:25 AM – Officer responded to Laredo St. at N. Prairie St. for a report of two stray puppies. Lytle Animal Control arrived shortly thereafter and took custody of the puppies.
7:50 AM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. at Norvell St. for a report of a suspicious pedestrian near the intersection. Officer made contact with the male subject, all was okay.
8:30 AM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Norvell St. for a report of an unknown person(s) that scratched or keyed complainant’s vehicle. It’s unknown where the incident occurred.
9:14 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Gate St. to assist CPS LaGrange with a follow up. The parties would not answer the door.
10:25 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and turned in found property. A loaded 38 caliber revolver was found in the roadway off of FM 2790 and McConnell Rd. Officer checked it through dispatch and was not reported stolen.
2:20 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to receiving several messages via Facebook from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. No offense occurred in the city, she was advised to report any future calls/harassment to her local police.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a hit & run.
11:00 PM – Officers responded to Super Stop for a report of a robbery in progress. A 16 YO male juvenile was taken into custody and detained at the Atascosa Co. Juvenile Detention Center.
Aug. 23
3:50 AM – Officer made contact with a suspicious male. Officer identified the male and received consent to search his vehicle. The male was issued a citation and released.
9:39 AM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of a two vehicle crash in the drive-thru lane.
10:30 AM – Officer responded to FM 2790 at Hwy. 132 for a report of a reckless driver. The complainant had followed the vehicle from Castroville; the vehicle was last seen turning on Hwy. 132. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
2:40 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and filed a report of missing prescription from her residence at 18000 Blk. of Wisdom Rd.
5:45 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Magnolia St. for a report of a reckless driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
7:50 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a welfare check on an elderly male asleep on the side of the road. Officer made contact with a friend of the male to have him take him home.
9:05 PM – Officer responded to S. Somerset St. at Main St. for a report of a hit & drive.
11:36 PM – Officer responded to Super Stop to assist Atascosa EMS with a male subject. He was transported to Southwest General Hospital.
Aug. 24
2:39 AM – Officers responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 126 for a report of a reckless driver. Officer made contact with the vehicle in question, all was okay.
8:02 AM – Officer responded to Sabor Norteño and talked to complainant in reference to an altercation. Incident occurred outside city limits. Complainant was advised to contact Medina Co. to file a report.
8:35 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a an employee that was followed by a male subject driving a gold Chevrolet and took several photos of her in the parking lot before speeding off. Officer searched for the vehicle, unable to locate.
11:08 AM – Officer responded to Mile Marker 127 N Bound at 135 for a report of a white dually pulling a trailer all over the road. Officer noticed the vehicle driving in the fast lane at a speed of 63 mph. After following up to the Luckey Rd. exit, officer determined that the vehicle was not being driven recklessly.
1:25 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 N on ramp at Hwy. 132 N to assist a stranded motorist with a flat tire. Officer changed the tire for the elderly male driver.
2:55 PM – Officer responded to Certified Truck & Auto for a report of a suspicious female spray painting the side of the building. Upon arrival, it was determined the female was working for Bob Roberts’ painting the graffiti on the side of their location downtown. Officer made contact with Mr. Roberts who stated the story was true.
3:30 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 N for a report of a head-on accident at the entrance ramp to IH 35. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the accident occurred in Bexar Co and two units were already on scene.
4:38 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Magnolia St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The two male occupants were walking door to door and were getting ready to leave due to the rain.
7:00 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store and follow up on an open case.
7:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to assist a stranded female motorist who had ran out of fuel and had pushed her vehicle to the fuel pumps.
8:00 PM – Officer responded to Los Arcos de Jalisco and assisted stranded motorist with a change of a flat tire.
10:12 PM – Officers responded to Lytle Mini Storage and made field contact with a vehicle uploading property into the unit. All appeared to be okay.
Aug. 25
1:20 AM – Officer responded to Lytle High School for a report of an abandoned vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle was unoccupied and legally parked. No signs of criminal activity.
2:11 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a theft of meat products. The suspect left behind the Beall’s prior to officer’s arrival. Officer was unable to locate.
5:37 PM – Officer responded to Bill Millers to unlock a vehicle. Upon arrival, officer was informed by dispatch that the owner was able to open the vehicle.
6:22 PM – Officer responded to 17900 Blk. of Laney’s Catch for a report of a fire alarm. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the homeowner was changing batteries.
