Lusenda (Lucy) Vera of Devine went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the age of 55. Lucy was born October 3, 1966 to Lucio Vera Sr. and Manuela E. Vera.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lucio Vera Sr.; mother, Manuela E. Vera; brother, Raul Roy Vera; and sister, Sandra B. Vera.
She is survived by her husband, Jesus Garza, and sons Justin and Jathaniel Garza; brothers, Armando Vera Sr. of Devine and Lucio Vera Jr. of San Antonio; sisters, Gloria (George) Gonzales of Devine, Alda Martinez (late Luis V. Martinez Jr.) of Devine, Diana Mann of San Antonio, and Cynthia (Armando) Fuentes of Devine; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Service will be held for her on December 8, 2021 at Harvest Tabernacle Church, 215 N. Teel Dr., Devine, TX 78016, at 11:00 am. Graveside service will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Devine.
Lucy will be missed by so many. She was a very giving, loving, caring, devoted person and she will forever be in our hearts.
