Lady Pirates run away with team XC championship at Randolph Invitational; Guerrero individual champion

The Lady Pirates ran away with the title at the Randolph XC meet.

Quite a performance by Eisabel Guerrero and her Lady Pirate Cross Country teammates at last Saturday’s Universal City Randolph Ro-Hawk Invitational. Guerrero led her squad to a team championship by winning the varsity two-mile race with a 12:42 time. Lytle scored 39 points, defeating runner up Geronimo Navarro who had 53 points.
Marissa Lopez placed third at 12:52 while teammate Samantha Mujica was also top 10 at 8th place in 13:07. Moriah Gomez closed out the top 10 at 10th. Gomez ran the race in 13:24.
Jadyn Bojorquez placed 17th to close out the Lady Pirates scoring effort. Bojorquez came in at 14:07.
For the Lady Pirate JV, Rose Scotello came in 13th at 15:59 and Lia Corral was 16th with a 16:57.
