Lady Pirates edge Poth for District XC Championship; Lopez, Guerrero, Williams top 10

The Lytle Lady Pirates earned a trip to Corpus Christi with their first place District 27-3A championship showing Monday in Poth. The Lady Pirates edged out second place Poth 35-44.

Lytle was led by 3rd place finisher Marissa Lopez who ran a 12:52 two-mile time. Teammate Eisabel Guerrero was only nine seconds behind Marissa, finishing third place with a time of 13:01. Natalie Williams was right behind Marissa to place fourth with a 13:02.
